Ok for the price but wrongly advertised.

It works well and is easy to use but cannot reach 250 feet which is much shorter than advertised. The display only reads 196 feet, which I've found to be inaccurate. Short distances seem to work well (20-50 feet). Therefore 3 stars. If advertised correctly it probably would have been 4-5 stars.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

This thing is amazing

I thought this laser tape measure would come in handy when setting up our projector, screen and speakers in our home theater. It turned out to be more than useful, it was necessary. I was able to accurately measure the distance from the screen to the lens of our projector when mounted on the ceiling. It would be such a pain with a regular tape measure. It is very easy to use and very accurate.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

Stuck on Meters works well for measuring and markup tools

I loved this value for money and the reviews but unfortunately the product I received was defective. The measuring tool did not change the units from meters to feet/inches - even after following the operating instructions and looking through various manuals. It appeared to be a solid, quality product, but I returned it for a different brand that was more expensive because I didn't want to risk the possibility of the same issue.

  • Easy to use

MAJOR DEFECT - Laser Rangefinder

Used to measure a $1500 purchase. At first I thought everything was fine. and then came the purchase. It turns out that the laser gauge doesn't take its own length into account. You might think that this would be an automatic feature because what's the point of having a tool like this if you use it every time. , do you need to add an extra 4.5 inches to the number? An absolute TOTAL WASTE of my money and time. Now I've lost $1500 and I've been waiting for the product I measured for 8 weeks. I…

Very competent: Laser range finder

I'm not very good at using many of the features of this device but by following the menu of instructions I was able to use it to get my distance measurement and range measurement entirely easy. when I measure garden tiles and fences together with the contractor. It's very convenient at the time, I just stand in the corner of my garden and activate the laser scanner, then I get the longitude and latitude values with the total area, I don't have to go through all the herbs to get the measure…

  • Good thing

Inaccurate after 10 feet

I'm an electrician for Jeff Bezos' Blu Origin project, owner of Revain. I ordered this device because we have about 1000 lamps in stock. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to pull it out and use it regularly, only to find that after ten feet it drifts by at least an inch or more depending on how many feet I'm trying to shoot. Some of our lanterns are 60 to 70 feet off the ground (lowest hanging lanterns are 12 feet 1 inch) so that distance, while over 150 feet, presumably inaccurately over 10…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Dead and Repeatable!

I read a lot of negative reviews and maybe the manufacturer was listening. When the batteries were installed in the shaft, she was already on her feet. I pressed the units button and changed it directly to feet and inches since that's what I use to measure spaces. I tested it multiple times in the same spots around the room. It was spot on every time with no change. I then used my Milwaukee tape measure and it matched the 1/16 inch laser gauge exactly. I didn't expect it to be that accurate…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are doubts

Best perfect laser measurement after trying 5 other models

I'm both a structural engineer and contractor and contractor. A few years ago I tried a laser meter, it had too many bugs, wasted money to buy it. Now I thought the technology could improve and tried to buy one again. The first one was big, heavy, but the readings are different every time you press the measure button, even at the same distance, I had to return this block.2. Then I tried another, every time the device was turned on it always set one per meter. I mostly use ft+in, not meter. I…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
