📐 Enhancing Accuracy of Measureman Pressure Assembly Connections: A Comprehensive Review Review

I installed a 1 1/2" gas line. The City Inspectorate told me to test the new gas line to three times the suggested gas pressure within 24 hours. This article got the job done. While ordering a new pad I'm pretty sure this item wasn't 'new' but it did what it was supposed to do, son can now use it for his house construction.

Works great. Was concerned if it was locked well after reading other reviews. I was expecting to have to take it apart and then tape or seal it to keep it airtight. When I opened it up I saw what appeared to be an epoxy gasket for the gauge and schrader valve in a 3/4 inch chrome plated brass body. It easily pumped up to 15psi and lasted for several days while I did other gas service work on my grill and campfire.

Used to test the tightness of a new PEX installation throughout the home prior to a water test. Worked great. A 3/4 inch male NPT PEX fitting was used to connect to the system. I wrapped the fitting with the supplied teflon tape, there was no air leakage. The Schrader valve is a tight fit on the gauge body; The threads looked factory sealed with some sort of translucent permanent thread sealant. Includes Schrader valve cap.
