🍳 Immerse in Creative Play with Melissa & Doug Prepare & Pretend Kitchen Review

We got this as a gift for our 2.5 year old. She totally loves it! This is a very well made set - different types and shapes of felt pasta, felted tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, wooden sausage circles, wooden spinach circles and wooden parmesan cheese circles. Ravioli can be filled with different fillings. Comes with pasta packaging - all pieces are perfect to open and store. The pots are excellent. Very fun and great creative game. I would give this 6 stars if I could.

Bought a pasta set for a 3 1/2 year old to use in the kitchen. I am not satisfied with the design of the boxes. They are slightly torn, flattened. Would be prepared for the cost if the containers were plastic. Spaghetti and cheese sauce surfaces are not suitable. These containers are also made of paper. For role-playing games, it's better to use plastic than paper. It would be nice if there was a way to store boxes. Not recommended due to the design of the storage boxes.

Another fantastic and realistic cooking toy from Melissa and Doug. My daughter asked not to open it until Christmas, even before she had unwrapped all her presents. She liked to put meat and cheese in ravioli and "colored” different types of pasta. I love how she gets involved in this game and how she uses her imagination to the fullest. The three toys are durable, beautifully finished and absolutely adored by every toddler I've ever known! The gift is also beautifully wrapped!

Yes, this set is cute, BUT the paste makes dust! I had to get rid of the pasta and leave the rest. I found a posta spaghetti set from HABA that has NO dust and works great with this M&D set. The M&D felt pizza set is dust-free. Once you have this set, hold a piece of paste up to the light, hit it and see what happens! Nice idea, but a different kind of felt is needed! I bought this Melissa & Doug pasta set for my daughter almost a year ago. She found it in her closet and asked me to open it. I'm so glad I did.
