Good product! Works very well.

If you intend to work with multiple guitars, be sure to purchase large cans of this protective paint. Although this is very easy, make sure you use at least 2 coats. I found 1 coat actually did a pretty good job, but 2 coats was the best option; as you will find tested in other reviews here. A small container is sufficient to apply 2 coats appropriately to all cavities (front/back) of the traditional Strat style, leaving a small amount for touch up (if needed). Cheaper than the competition and…

Very efficient!

This worked really well on a pair of Strats I built recently. After applying the first layer I measured only 1 ohm in the cavity between any two points! I've used carbon based protective paint on other guitars in the past and it took at least three thick coats to get under 10 ohms. In any case, in combination with the copper foil pick protection, the guitars were absolutely silent in terms of electromagnetic interference fields coming from the amplifier or surrounding devices. An additional…

Great for protecting the guitar

I installed this for Les Paul controls and pickups. I applied 4 thin coats for excellent coverage throughout the day. Good continuity wherever I've tested it and drowns out some of the outside noise getting into the guitar. I have plenty left in the bottle, probably enough for at least 2-3 more guitars. The staying power seems good, but it doesn't apply in an accessible range. Some scratches come off the nail, definitely a soft finish. 2 things. Make sure you mix it well every time you apply…

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
