    Works as advertised.

    This is perfect for my needs! Not only for collecting coins, but also for electronics and soldering. The Revain deal made this a great and worthwhile buy.

    Too bad the software sucks

    The only real complaint I have about this product is the software. The free version is useless. I think they do it on purpose to force you to buy additional software. Maybe I can find another software to make it work with my computer. I will not spend any more money on these people.

    Thoughtful design

    I originally bought it for assembling and repairing electronic circuits. It's a great after-dinner snack! I gave it to see the carved cameo from Amalfi. It was the first time we could see the intricate work that Master carved! The screen made it easy for everyone to see.

    I see clearly now!

    As a numismatist, I like the easy adjustment of the dual illumination and the ability to focus the lens to see the coin's microscopic details. It is fascinating. I see the definition of coins as "clear". It's like entering a new world. This well-designed microscope has many other conveniences.

    Great microscope for the price!

    I have tried a different brand microscope before and couldn't get it to work and the instructions were terrible. Not this microscope because after you charge it, unplug it and plug it back in, all the functions work fine. Also, the instructions are much better, so you can figure out how to use it relatively quickly. Great for the price.

    Needed a microscope for a group of kids and it was perfect!

    I am a volunteer at a local nonprofit organization with young children and I needed a microscope for scientific work. It's really easy to set up and the kids love it! It comes with a manual and a screen, so you don't need a computer to connect. For the price it's definitely worth it. I love it and highly recommend it!

    great toy! in USB microscopes

    Works great, easy to use. I did not try to connect to the computer. The depth of field isn't great, but it's ideal for flat objects like money or coins. The additional reflector didn't fit well on the camera tip, and the instructions on how to do it are relatively sparse. I would like HDMI output and more depth of field, but these scopes tend to be more expensive. The sensor works with progressive scanning, so you get jelly artifacts with fast movement.

    Not too happy good for camera and photo

    1st. This came up when looking for a coin operated microscope, but it isn't. Yes, you can see coin payouts, but not all at once. The image on my monitor is the smallest I can get, which is not suitable for my purposes. That being said, I have something going on that is causing a lot of concern. Three days ago I connected a microscope and now my computer is not working properly, is slow and unresponsive. I'm very careful in what I do and it's only after a few days that I have this problem?

    Great microscope for the price!

    Be sure to use the power cord first.

    This is a great well built little viewer that works well. You can't see the whole coin unless you put a viewer on top of a book or something to pick it up, and then the coin looks oblong instead of round. But there is a very clear picture. When you receive the viewer for the first time, make sure the power cord is plugged into the right side of the display and into your computer's USB port. If you don't do this, you won't be able to turn it on. Trust me I went insane before I found out. I don't

    This is not a microscope. The description is wrong, it's more of a digital magnifying glass. Your phone camera will most likely have the same magnification if not better, the only advantage it has over your phone is the stand, not because it's the best but because it's better than trying to hold the camera still.
