It's amazing how easy it is to figure out how to use it

My daughter loves this puzzle. It's amazing how easily she figured out how to use it. The "instructions" suggest that you teach your child without using the magnetic tablet to develop their fine motor skills, but I only let my daughter (21 months old) use the magnetic tablet as she is very young and I am not I don't want to disappoint her.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • High price

Magnets do not come pre-assembled

Amazing! My 3 year old loves jigsaw puzzles as he can put together a 30 piece jigsaw puzzle himself. He said that and laid out the first twenty cards with a little guide and now he can do them all. Fiction! The only thing I agree with is that the magnets don't stick to the molds prematurely. If I had known that, I would have taken the time to put them on. Since my son knows they come loose from time to time, I caught him tugging at them. Put in an eyeliner.

So far so good - Puzzle

All my 5 kids loved Mighty Mind. Unfortunately when they show interest when they are too young (2 years) they get frustrated with the positioning of the pieces like little kids do so I bought the magnetic version. Magnets help a lot. My 2 year old daughter needs help but likes to play alone (when I'm around to make sure she doesn't choke on the small parts). I think it will be great on the road. I don't know if we will have an issue with magnets not staying in place. We just received it…

Great for 2 year olds too!

Our 2 year old has recently taken an interest in jigsaw puzzles and quickly switched from 2 pieces to 12 and 24 pieces. I was tired of buying him new puzzles so I looked for other options and luckily stumbled across this gem! He loves to! After grasping the concept, he was able to solve several puzzles, including the last two, using only part of Mom. It seems this thing will be around our house for a long time. The architect wife and engineer husband also love watching him explore how his brain

My 2.5 year old son loves it. very exciting.

2.5 year old son is already interested and has been wanting to play with him for 3 days! That. I usually finish one part of the puzzle and he's happy to "help" with the rest. :) I'm sure it will take years (to keep him busy). I'm glad I didn't go for the easier puzzles (like Melissa and Doug's version) which I'm sure he can solve in 30 minutes. and lose interest. The plastic material isn't an issue I was initially worried about. Problems: 1) the pieces are a bit small. and no redundancy. I'm…

Not sure why it has so many 5 star reviews

I am disappointed in this product. It has so many 5 starter reviews but the quality is bad. The instructions state that you should start by filling the fragile plastic tray with pieces. Well, a 3 year old's (or adult's) fingers can't pull the pieces out without much effort and the tray ripped on first use. The tray should not be used. The cards stick together and the pieces don't go back into the box, which is also flimsy. I plan to ditch the box and plastic tray, leaving only cards and hard…

Great brain teaser

Great for young children. They require (and develop) critical thinking and spatial skills. I have a 3 year old who sat up straight away and ran over cards 1-16. Now we're moving a little slower because there are fewer directions, but she has no problems - she just takes her time and solves them. There are many different solutions and some of them look like they will work but leave missing shapes for other drawings on the same machine so it's up to the kid to think over what they did and come up

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great Fun Product Jigsaw Puzzles

My sons aged 2 and 3 love it. He has simple designs for more complex cards, both challenging and giving him room to grow. Definitely allows them to get creative and have fun solving each card. Update: my kids still enjoy playing with this product. I will say that for the deck of card designs I used two rings to hold them together. Otherwise the cards go around all the time. With a ring will also be fine. As for the real parts, I usually put them back into their plastic molds when they're done…
