How could such a bad product be made?

I wanted to get the maximum speed of the Internet at every point of the apartment. Started with one AP and moved up to 4 CAPacs and 1 HAPac. Taxied all this splendor Mikrotik CCR1009-7g-1c-1s + PC (this is the opposite of a delightful device). I put one point - it doesn’t finish in the nursery at all, in all the rest - at least one load-bearing wall on the way - the speed drops from 400 to 20, sometimes 50 Mbps. Hell with the settings is a separate song. These devices are not for humans. You…

    Pros
    • - Price; - Design; -POE; -Two ports.
    Cons
    • Difficulty setting; job instability; No seamless roaming; Very weak 5 GHz transmitter.

It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

I can’t understand why everyone writes the phrase “set it and forget it”? This happens with any equipment, why write about it? Or do you mean "set it and forget it like a bad dream"? Or "set up and forgot how it's done", because I rummaged through the entire Internet in search of normal instructions, and next time I won't remember, since the settings are not at all trivial. The customization options are rich, but for home use are redundant. At home, you usually need something else. Those who…

    Pros
    • Poe
    Cons
    • There is no seamless wifi. Outdated WiFi5.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

An excellent gadget for those who need a good and stable connection. But the buyer must understand that not everyone can set it up for stable operation. In the photo, I showed how the access point looks on the ceiling in the corridor.

    Pros
    • Excellent call quality. The data transfer rate is high. There are no disconnections or places in a large apartment where it is impossible to comfortably use the Internet. Inconspicuous on the ceiling, the appearance is quite presentable. I originally planned to use a separate access point, I have a MikroTik hEX lite device as a router.
    Cons
    • Of course, I fiddled a little with the settings. It turned out to be configured as an access point with the distribution of router addresses only on the second day. The first evening I did not quite understand what needed to be done. Nevertheless, the complexity of the settings is a minus. It would be possible to include such a standard script in the quick setup wizard. But this is MikroTik, so I have no questions, I knew that I was waiting for a few resets to default for the final setup.

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

well, it's great that there is no separate connector for power supply - after all, there are no patch cords in the kit. those. you get a non-deployable construct. and the nightboard on the first connector is turned off (well, suddenly you found at least one patch cord in your place). well, for security, you, like a simpleton, connect to it with all your neighbors and quickly change 1) password 2) interface sheets 3) findboard. I don't know what the capsman is for - I don't know, each client is…

    Pros
    • mikrotik ros
    Cons
    • no patch cords power supply via poe the default setting puts the first power poe port on the van list capsman it is difficult to connect the ethernet connector - only the cap fits two microitka blocks in series do not fit into any splitter of sockets

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

After some thought, I decided to take a bunch of hEX PoE + cAP ac from Mikrotik instead of a household router. The idea to take a wired router and an access point came from the need to have a cable connection in the same room, otherwise cAP ac could be dispensed with altogether, because. it can also work as a router. And so - in the place where the provider's cable comes in, there is a router, and the access point in the center of the apartment is "three". The initial setup is very easy to…

    Pros
    • 1. PoE - can be placed anywhere you can reach the cable. 2. The design is concise, does not spoil the interior 3. You can set up so many things that the imagination is not enough. 4. Power is more than enough. 5. Two RJ-45, PoE in and PoE out, can scale the network.
    Cons
    • From a swoop it was not possible to make friends with a Wi-Fi card from ASUS, you need to twist the settings. Despite the fact that the TP-Link router worked with Asus without any complaints.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

1.2A power supply is included with this package. I spent one hundred and thirty dollars on a Rexant 14-0320 splitter. I hung a PoE injector with a point and a hAP ac2 router that I had acquired earlier on this power supply, and I did both of these things through it. The router and the point both have a pleasant feel, share a single power supply unit (PSU), and distribute WiFi signals using CAPsMAN v2 (my router serves as a "controller") Because of this, I decided not to write about the…

    Pros
    • dual band Adequate price (I was able to purchase it for four yuan with a little extra after taking into consideration the store's perks.) Powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE), injector is supplied, and there is PoE output for serial connection of another point In my opinion, it is even capable of operating in router mode; however, I could be wrong because I haven't tried it myself. Quality construction and included fasteners
    Cons
    • Unfortunately, actual seamless roaming cannot function at this point because of this limitation. Switching from one point to another is what CAPsMAN v2 performs, and there may be brief pauses of a few seconds between each transition.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Some pros: Like all Mikrotiks. Works like a Kalashnikov assault rifle, set it and forget it. I took to deploy wifi through. capsman. Different cons: Not for dummies. You need to be able to set up and understand what you are buying.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Has pros: Appearance, two covers in a set, round and rectangular. Yes, and this is Mikrotik, where you can change everything Some cons: This is Mikrotik. I tried to program myself, but for the simplest situations, but usually I invite friends who do this all the time

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Has some pros complete set, even a poe adapter and two cases, round and rectangular, are included Cons: impossible to set up without instructions. but the Internet is full of manuals for any configuration - just repeat the steps.

    Great product, best quality.

The option of network devices, in my opinion, is quite clear: Mikrotik. Functionality typical of Cisco at a reduced cost. You can configure it once, and then leave it alone; there will be no lags, stutters, or other such issues. The following are some favorable aspects: The quantity of settings is unmatched in the industry; you may customize everything and then some. The functionality is quite remarkable, and it also includes technologies that are suitable for industrial use. The quality of the

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

I use two of these along with the MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 control router, and it has covered 250 square feet in a cottage for ten people. Competitors cannot offer prices like these. If we can fulfill our primary objective, which is to have WiFi accessible from every room in the house, then we will have successfully accomplished our purpose. Naturally, seamlessness, just like on other devices (including Ubik), is implemented based on signal strength; yet, everything works great for a device that…

    Pros
    • Compactness, design, power, and stability are all important factors.

Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

Fantastic value for such a high-quality piece of iron. To the typical individual for use in their own house, it is NOT something I would endorse. U. P. I gave up. Purchased some keenetic viva. In only ten minutes, it was set up to function as a second access point. My apartment now has the highest possible signal strength over the entire space. There was a connection made to the regulator on the balcony, which was not attached to the Mikrotik. The benefits include the following: The coverage…

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

There are four separate Mikrotik devices that I use at home, one that I use at work, and one that is hosted on the cloud. The total daily load on the devices is between 8 and 10 devices. Torrents, watching movies online, and various other chores around the house. Everything functions exactly as it should. Every difficulty I encountered while I was working was directly attributable to some aspect of my hands-on job or my prior knowledge and expertise. In general, RouterOS requires quite a…

    Pros
    • ROS L4 Plus 2 bands for 4500 rub. The cost of purchasing such a device is through the roof. There are two cases in all. Gigabit ports, as well as passthrough LAN connections. It seems to be in extremely good condition.
    Cons
    • In Mikrotiks, there is only one drawback (or feature) that I can attribute to disadvantages; this is the difficulty of setting up some additional Wishlists. Other than that, I do not see any other issues. Normal setup takes me 5 minutes. If, on the other hand, anything that is more sophisticated is required of you, then you will have to consult manuals since you cannot rely on your intuition.

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

The Latvian company took an excellent model as a basis - the OS has been being finalized for many years (based on Linux) and with different license levels (read the possibilities) a wide variety of pieces of iron are released under the network - ideal for professional use - study the OS from and to and all Mikrotik lines will cease to be a mystery - and there are many of them. I already use a lot of different devices from this manufacturer to solve professional problems and I am very satisfied.

    Pros
    • Communication stability, flexibility and scalability, excellent coverage (thanks to Router OS and good hardware for everything) Two ranges and unity in a single network using the capsman controller. Two ports - the ability to organize a cascade of points via PoE. Allows you to competently close the premises of a non-standard configuration with seamless conditional Wi Fi for low money
    Cons
    • It doesn’t scare me, but not everyone can really set up Mikrotik correctly. But this is a normal price to pay for flexibility and opportunities.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Small office, without the possibility of laying cables: a bunch of MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 + MikroTik cAP ac and TP-LINK Archer T2U Plus USB adapters (in 8022022ac mode) in employees' PCs. Office Wi-Fi (AC) + separate Wi-Fi for personal devices of employees (G/N and AC) + guest Wi-Fi (B/G/N). Everything works stably, there are no complaints. Satisfied with the purchase, I took and will take more.

    Pros
    • Installed, configured, forgotten.
    Cons
    • It is difficult to set up for the first time, then you understand, you get used to it, and after that you don’t remember about other equipment.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I use two of these and the MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 control router, covered 250 sq. in a cottage for 10 competitors cannot offer such prices. The main goal is to get wifi in all corners of the house and a seamless transition, the goal is achieved. Of course, seamlessness, like on other devices (including ubik), is implemented on signal strength, but for a home device, everything works fine. The main disadvantage is, of course, the setting, without manuals on the Internet, the average user cannot…

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

While testing. To a greater extent, the compatibility of the new chip at the point with the old client devices. Some pros: All the power of RouteOS at a ridiculous price. 4-core processor on board. I made friends with a cisco (2960-X) and got a speed on the Ethernet port of 1Gb / s. And we notice this with PoE. Previously, only the PoE injector that was included could do this. Power is on average 22-25dB. Has cons: They are not here. One drawback for ordinary people - it will be very difficult…
