Nice bag - not too big

I bought this bag for my son's ASUS 17.3" gaming laptop. It doesn't fit in the laptop compartment. I fit in the main compartment of the bag outside of the laptop compartment. I me think a medium sized 17" laptop will do, but it gets tight. Other than that I'm sending this bag back. However, this bag seems to be very well made and looks very nice. It's very stylish. more space than a laptop and accessories are not included. In addition to a laptop and accessories, a laptop or a 1.5" folder fits…

If you are traveling with electronics, a must.

A must have when traveling with electronics. difficult conditions. Well done. Excellent zippers and traction. Cozy. Accessible. Spacious. I didn't think anyone else made products that could handle the stress. And the time and energy savings on TSA lines is doubly worth it. Laptop bag, excellent. 17 inches no problem. And a 10-inch tablet in a soft, velvety inner sleeve. Mouse. Pens, pencils, chargers, cables, SD memory cards, USB drives. Portable hard drives. All sung and safe. I opened the…

good backpack, could be better

I had the previous model from this company for 4 years so I bought this new one when it wore out. That's good, but there are a few problems: 1. The zippers are sticky. I hope this goes away after a while, but it's quite annoying. If you open them fast enough they usually don't stick.2. Not enough small pockets. Those two front pockets are narrow and deep, so if you put small items in, you basically have to empty the pockets to dig things up. There are almost no pockets and compartments where…

Great backpack for large laptops.

I ordered some of these for my design department. We use Dell Precision 7710-7730 series computers. They fit easily into these backpacks. We also stow the power supply, which is quite large, in the lower front pocket and the external hard drives and the mouse in the small lower side pockets. I've been traveling with mine for almost two years now. My shoulder straps are starting to fray a bit, but I've had at least a dozen flights with this thing. I will say that fitting under an airplane seat…

Big bag for a big car!

I bought this for my Dell XPS 17.3 laptop with a large battery. It fits great and has plenty of room for all the extras I carry with me. I also have 2 Paperport scanners, a Bose Soundlink and my iPad. All cables too. Yes, it doesn't light up when I've fully charged it, but again, the laptop. All my digital toys in one place. Believe it or not, there's more room and pockets for more. Very well built and after several trips across the country and back it still looks like new. I never use the…

Love the features - so far!

I travel over 42 weeks a year so I needed something that would make it easier for me to get through TSA checkpoints. Since there is no pre-control line at our airport, it is important that this bag passes through security easily. It works! I've used it multiple times and it works like a champ. The only downside (if you can call it that) is the slightly smaller size than I'm used to. That's probably a good thing, too, because I've been lugging around more stuff than I really need. I've…

The thing is very cool. I have one of these big 17

this thing is pretty cool. I have one of those big 17.3 inch Dells for work and it's hard to find a good package for this size. The main problem when looking for edge protection is in the corners as the computer gets closer to the outer edges of the bay. This package does a pretty solid job of providing some padding where most other packages fail. I mean, you won't be able to smash this thing to pieces, but it will give you more peace of mind than anything else I've come across in my fairly…

  • some trouble

My wife and I like to go abroad a few times a year. And of course, when you travel around the world, security checks are much more thorough. TSA always wants you to take your laptop out of your bag and place it in a separate bin for scanning. With this backpack I only have to open the laptop compartment completely. When the zipper is fully open, the bag can lay flat and keep your laptop separate from other things in your bag. So you no longer have to take your laptop out of your pocket. I would

Best in class for backpacks

I recently bought a very nice 14" Lenovo Y410p and have searched extensively online and in stores to find the right backpack for my laptop. It was a very difficult experience like many Others too. Companies like Case Logic, Wenger/Swissgear etc. simply skimped on the most important part of a backpack: the laptop compartment. I discovered this company at Fry's and was quite impressed with the quality they put into the product (ScanFast). although I had never heard of the brand before. The laptop…
