Works - no complaints

I wanted a more expensive one (more expensive = more channels?) but when I went to the site and entered my zip code it turned out that this was the best for my area. That's why I bought it here. Prime member so it arrived in 2 days as promised. I installed it and hung it next to the window, scanned and surprisingly only got 2 channels! Moving it right behind and above the TV and rescanning it gave me 22 channels. I thought it was pretty good. After mounting it on the wall, I scanned again and…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Has flaws

Was affordable, reliable and had great picture quality!

This is a great antenna at an affordable price. I had to do 3 scans to get Fox which is one of my favorite channels but everything else is perfect. I give this one 4/5 stars because Fox sometimes gets a scrambled image, but it's less than a minute long. Edit: I upped my rating because after watching the placement video I found out about the antenna web points organization recommending where my antenna should be. collide. So I attached it to the wall with the included velcro and buttons in the…

1,000X Better Than Sports

While streaming services are great for homes that don't have or need 200 basic cable channels, there's one thing they can't quite easily replace: the content of the main broadcast. I was trying to find this year's Superbowl on my DirecTV Now paid subscription, but found that they don't yet have a licensing agreement with NBC in my area. The free NBC Sports app allowed us to watch the game with buffering and picture quality that was sometimes decent, sometimes very poor. Knowing that I would…

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Will work well in most settings.

This antenna does exactly what it's supposed to do despite looking like a thin piece of vinyl. However, in some setups it needs a little help to reach its full potential. This is because Mohu Metro comes with RG59 coaxial cable, not RG6 coaxial cable! In my city setup in New York, I initially received 55 channels. BUT I did not receive the channel for which I bought this antenna in the hope of reception. PBS. Knowing I was within signal range I did a little research and came across a suggestion

  • Questionable purchase for elderly

The cord cutting revolution WILL be televised, OTA!

There are 2 mistakes new wire cutters make: 1) Throw away the old wire harness. My cord from Mohu was only 10 feet long. I just used one of the old wires that was long enough and it works just as well if not better. The company is in the business of cutting the cable, so they don't get mad at you. 2) Do not call Mohu customer service FIRST to find out what antenna size you need and if you need an amplifier. They are friendly and helpful; they won't bite you. Initially I thought I needed an…
