Description of 🌲 Dr Meter Multifunctional Moisture Meter for Firewood and Furniture

▶ 【2-in-1 Moisture Meter】The 2-in-1 Dr.meter moisture meter offers ideal dual functions of pin-type and pinless scanning in one. The pinless scanning mode with non-invasive measurement is ideal for high-end wood and building materials. The pin-type mode with faster response and higher accuracy is great for all kinds of wood and building materials. ▶ 【Wide Measuring Range】Different measurement modes correspond to different measurement ranges. In the pin-type mode: wood: 5%-50%, building materials: 1.5%-33%, error range: +/-2%; In the pinless scanning mode: wood: 5%-53%, building materials: 0-35%, error range: +/-4%. ▶ 【Over-range Alert】There are four pinless scanning modes of softwood, hardwood, gypsum board and concrete. The general algorithm has been written into the user manual to reduce the redundant settings before use to facilitate customers. When the wood moisture exceeds 17% or the wall humidity exceeds 70%, the wood moisture tester will beep to alert you. ▶ 【Current Ambient Temperature Measurement】The Dr.meter intelligent wood moisture meter can not only measure the humidity of wood and building materials, but also it can measure 0-40 degree current environmental temperature with only +/- 2 degree error. ▶ 【User-friendly Design】Designed with green backlight display, reading hold on function and measurement signal bar display for more intuitive measurement tips, the digital moisture detector is more user-friendly. A bonus nylon storage bag is provided to store the product conveniently.

Wow, this works on drywall, for a good price.

Wow, this moisture meter was worth the price for this homeowner in the first five minutes. I suspected some moisture in the drywall ceiling, so I tested the moisture meter in non-contact drywall mode. The meter immediately showed high humidity in a very small area with an accuracy of a few centimeters. It was clear. Now I can easily fix it!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Fine

2 in 1. Less touch and tactile measurements!

Fewer touch and tactile measurements rolled into one. I used this to measure the humidity in my sink cabinets as I had a sink leak and needed to dry them well. I highly recommend this tool for measuring how wet the wood is inside. Worked well to get an idea of how long wood should dry. In terms of accuracy, it doesn't have any other comparison tool, but I just measured a dry case and a wet case to get an idea of what the "dry" reading should be. I think all wood has a certain moisture content…

Good pen + penless moisture meter

This is a handy little moisture meter. It is conveniently carried on a belt and easily fits in a tool box. The functions work well enough. Now I really like this little moisture meter. A word of warning to those new to the Moisture Meter, the functions only work well on the material it is configured for and will not work at all on some materials. For example, regardless of the function you set it up for, even a dry laminate will test as waterlogged in pinless mode, and anything containing cat…

Seems accurate, at least the numbers make sense and agree.

I got another one of those meters ($69 with taxes) and this thing gave me numbers that were everywhere. This: non-contact to wood, which has been in my house for years. From 8% to 10% - sounds something like this. A log cut straight: 35% without dowels and 35% with dowels! OK, light it up! My other counter was off by 200%. A bit of wood that has dried for a while. 16% in both directions. You need to make sure you choose the right type of wood (I tested hardwood and softwood - the more expensive

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

  • Reliability

doubts about the correctness. returned for a refund.

I was really hoping this would work but it didn't. I have tried old wood that has been stacked and stored under one roof for 2 years, freshly split wood (6 months ago) and then green wood that has been split but not split 2 weeks ago. Path when reading the entire tree. Dry wood and the counter said it was still wet - no. The green wood was found to be too dry and said to be almost dry enough to be burned. No way. No matter what I did, I couldn't get myself to read more than 25%. I sent a…

More detailed instructions will help

I make everyday furniture, cabinets, bedsteads and headboards, picture frames and other tools. I'm new to this kind of tools. I've been thinking about a moisture meter for a long time. I don't usually dry the wood myself, but buy lumber or recycle what I have. All my wood is stored indoors as I don't buy in bulk just for the next project. However, there are seasonal fluctuations in humidity that affect the condition of the wood. I bought this gauge to monitor the moisture level of various parts

  • High price

Affordable easy to use moisture meter

I often work with wood that has been sawn for about a year and I live in a very humid environment. The combination of these things definitely requires that I use a moisture meter for my woodworking projects. This particular moisture meter is actually a pretty good deal considering the price. Yes, there are pros and cons, but I think the pros and cons far outweigh the cons here. Advantages: 1. Price - The price of this moisture meter is a real bestseller here. Scanning (without a pin) - Maybe…
