Incense Nippon Kodo. A good thing!

Excellent incense for a clean burn. If you've never used this type before, give it a try! You can burn it vertically, but then a small piece will be lost. I burn mine horizontally, lying lightly on a bed of ashes. It works well.

They smell great for home decor

I don't like the smell of all patchouli products. Some of these are gross, but that's the typical HIPPY DIPPY smell I know from the 70's. I think the quality of these incense sticks is good, they are fragile and short-lived, but the smell is quite strong. I would recommend, especially for the price! :)

  • I'm looking forward to

SPEND STIN STICKS MONEY!

Completely disappointed in you. You are useless. They have a very slight odor when burned (or in the box). The stench they give off is disgusting, NOTHING comparable to any type of patchouli I have ever smelled. Thank goodness they don't even burn for 10 minutes! An absolute waste of money. I just spent $9 on a 9 minute stink stick.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Best Morning Star Scent

I love this brand of incense sticks and have tried different flavors. I prefer a smoky, earthy scent, so patchouli is my favorite, followed by cedarwood, sandalwood, and green tea. I use them around the house and keep them in the bathroom - something I stole from a former roommate. Short burning time, but they are excellent for gentle room cleaning.

As always, Morning Star kicks him out of the park!

I love the morning star. I've been buying their incense sticks for about ten years now. This is my first time trying patchouli and I love it! It smells amazing and the aroma really fills the room. My husband, who hates the patchouli smell, even said that this incense doesn't bother him at all. It's thin and not very smoky. And the price is good for the number of sticks you get. Will definitely buy again.

Artificial fragrance = Headache = Trash

Very nice packaging, I was pleased I thought it was all natural patchouli at a great price. I think when things are cheap, they're cheap for a reason. I'm sensitive to artificial scents like cheap perfumes and colognes, they can give me a 3 day migraine if I sniff them for too long. As soon as I smelled it I knew it contained synthetic/artificial chemicals. Then I lit it up just to be sure and it was just unbearable. Very disappointed 😞 but if you don't have the same problem as me you might…

Wonderful Scent - Frankincense

It's amazing how little these things cost compared to, for example, some stores that sell similar things in the mall. Anyway, this one has a clean scent, no punk smell here, just a great patchouli incense scent. . The holder is beautiful and works great, it's perfect for sticks, but I put mine on top of a larger 4" round incense holder just to make sure, it works great and I don't have to worry about ash and such . Shame the box of 200 doesn't come with some small incense sticks, but never…

I LOVE THIS SCENT!: Home Accessories

I'm new to both the Patchouli fragrance and the Nippon Kodo - Morning Star line. and I have to say I think I chose the right company for my first patchouli sample! I was told it smells like patchouli. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that the mention of the incense holder was correct. Since this incense stick has no stick, it needs another holder. I don't think I've ever smelled "patchouli" before, but this incense smells vaguely familiar, so maybe it was. I've also heard that it's…
