Easy to use. Be smart and grind rivet heads. weak case.

Did a good job punching the DID 525 circuit and installing a new one. I sand down the heads of the pins before I drive them in. I don't know if the manufacturer says it's not necessary, but it seems like it should be. These pens are hard. Attaching the new pins worked great. The case is cheap, thin and cracked. It's a shame because I prefer to buy quality tools and expect them to last a long time. The case is part of the instrument, which makes the instrument's components well protected and…

Better than Pit Posse and the like. We will also manufacture solid rivets.

I have previously ordered a 525 chain tool and rivet kit from Pit Posse for a GSXR 750 and it broke the chain fine but the part the link was pressed onto was stuck in the machine and stuck Celebration. When I tried to knock it out with a hammer it just fell apart like a rivet (the steel is very soft) and I couldn't get it out. I didn't want to drill it out (plus the part was broken) so I ordered a Motion Pro PBR. This makes everything Pit Posse and less than half the size. Best steel and I was…

First day failure Fits tool kits

Pin was slightly bent on first use. Not the end of the world, but I was disappointed. In general, I successfully pushed out two rivets. When forging rivets on the new main link, the calibration tool broke on the first rivet. Parts of it flew wildly through the garage. I only found two parts out of three. It seems that the design of this nozzle is too small and flimsy for the task. Tomorrow I will send it back for a refund and then try Motion Pro Jumbo. Wish me good luck! I've seen several…

It comes in a nice carrying case and comes with easy-to-follow instructions.

I have used this chain splitter on two bikes, one with an o ring chain and a push master link and the other with a non o ring snap link chain. In general it works very well. I found that I couldn't apply enough force with the short handle when mounting the connecting pin on the O-ring chain. I ended up using a wrench on the switch body to get the necessary leverage. The product is strong enough not to break. This is one of those tools that you can buy once and use forever. Anyone who does…

Best Chain Cutting Tool

I recently had to replace the chain and sprockets on my '06 CBR600 F4i. I bought an RK setup and a simple circuit breaker. Everything worked fine on my first attempt at installation, but I damaged (bent) one of the breaker contacts. I wasn't worried because I managed to rivet the chain. BUT I had to build another bike of mine and we have a problem in Houston. 525 and I bent/broke all the pins that came with the kit. So now I'm stuck on the bike and I'm faced with a dilemma: I can either get a…

This is the only chain/rivet breaker you should buy

The rear sprocket on my G650GS looks like it's nearing the end of its life. Preferring to do everything myself, I started buying the tools I needed to replace the chain and sprockets. There are many different chain cutter and rivet kits available. Most of them are cheap and not worth the money. Motion Pro makes two sets of a chain breaker and a set of rivets, the more expensive one here is the one you should get. What is striking about this kit is that it is not intended for one-time use (good…

Incredible Solid Tool

I am very satisfied with this tool. I have tried cheaper alternatives in the past and have been very disappointed. PBR is an ingenious and reliable design for all phases of your motorcycle chain replacement. Everything is thought out for the user - the silver block snaps into modes that require two hands with a small latch. The block also has the right indentations to keep everything very well aligned. There is an integrated but detachable handle so all you need is this tool and 17mm and 14mm…

Very robust, well made.

I didn't use the chain cutter as I wanted to get rid of the old chain, I just used a Dremel cutting wheel to cut the link plate. Much easier than trying to knock out a pin. Every chain breaker I've looked at has had reviews complaining about the pin breaking. I think you have to grind the head of the pen and be very careful to get the tool right inside the pen for this to work. These chains are used on bikes over 100 hp to make them stiff. Anyway, enough of that. The tool included full-color…

Worked great! on tool kits

My 2006 CBR1000RR is the first chain drive bike I've owned. All others had belts or shafts. Since this is a track bike, I decided to switch from an OEM 530 chain to a 520 chain. To do this, of course, I had to remove the old 530 parts and install new 520 parts. When looking for a chain tool, the choice was very confusing! There are so many different chain tools out there, some even from the same brand! I chose this one based on the price and the reviews. There are chain tools that are cheaper…
