A must for caravans and fifth wheels

The perfect solution to reinforce our caravan's bumper. I installed them on a 2016 Keystone Outback. I had to work around the bracket and welds, but that's not a problem. Drill three holes and use self-tapping screws for installation. Super light and definitely made the bumper a lot stronger. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't like anything, everything is fine

Great security

Really nice brackets that add extra security when transporting bikes with your motorhome. My bumper has always matched our bike rack, but after reading about other people's experiences I wanted to upgrade mine. Then, on my last ride, the bike rack moved the bumper so far that the bumper plugs fell out and were lost. They are very strong and easy to install.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

Precautions, follow closely.

Bike rack fitted to van to prevent bumper deflection. Insurance, one of those things you don't know about, is worth it if nothing goes wrong. I think next time I'll install a thicker steel bumper instead or in addition. They go at each end, but there's a tire in the center of the bumper, a bike rack, and 60 pounds. The bikes on it weigh a total of 200 pounds. After 500 km there are no problems.

  • Good value for money

  • So-so

It's just necessary.

It's one of those things you can't see or feel, but you know what it's supposed to do. Based on other people's experiences, you won't regret it. I carry around fairly hefty Huffies and don't want them to fall over and worse, cause an accident. You don't have to worry about that when towing a trailer, it's pretty stressful. Buy and done. Check out the other reviews, not a single person said they lost their stuff, but you've probably seen reviews of people who lost their stuff without them. This…

Great insurance investment for RV Bumper

Easy to install and looks like it should be effective. After installation I noticed a small gap between the bumper and the outer part of the beam which would only allow for a slight shifting of the bumper before this was most effective but this happened during my installation and although I clamped it it was had to move around a bit but it should still work fine and the only thing that would be better would be to tack weld or solid seam weld the back of the bumper but I'm not sure if this is…

Find another option!

I was going to believe that this would be the perfect solution to the 4" trailer bumper flex problem, but it was a waste of money. It may work better with a MnL bumper and accessories, but these mounts will not work unless they are welded to the frame and bumper of most 4m2 travel trailer bumpers. Almost wanted my money back but didn't ask. You see, I ordered and received it, but didn't start installing it until a few months later, in the spring of last year. MnL promotes MADE IN USA. Then why…

It's just a pity I didn't do it sooner

First, I carried three bikes on the rear bumper for several trips. The last time I noticed the bikes' bumpers were twisted outwards. Eventually I knew the bumper welds would fail and the bumper and bikes would fall off. So I bought her. After reading the instructions I went to drill holes and found the peas didn't fit. I emailed mount and lock and they responded within 30 minutes. They said I had to cut out a small piece of Ibeam. The rest of the isolation went pretty smoothly. Took me about 40

Does exactly what it should!

I believe products should be as advertised and work equally well. These simple yet effective braces work exceptionally well. The fit is perfect for standard 4 inch square steel tube bumpers found on most vans. Installation is simple: drill two holes, install high-quality fasteners, tighten as recommended, done. With the right tools, you'll be ready to install your bumper accessory in no time. We installed a quality 2" 4" bike rack hitch and moved our spare tire holder to make room for the bike…

Easy to install, should work great!

I bought these to carry camping gear that I don't need in the camper like generator, fuel and firewood. So I attached a cargo pallet, which is typically used in the back of a truck for such goods, to the bumper. I also have a generator box in which I can lock expensive and lightweight generators (you know, the ones that cost $2-4k), but I've settled on a cheaper but much bulkier and slightly heavier generator, the one sold by the Champ was manufactured and developed for mobile homes. use. It's…
