prevents strap from tightening

I bought these - $50 I'll never get a refund as I couldn't test them out quick enough to return them. The end result was that they were difficult to attach to my Rift S (I double-checked that they were for the Rift S). After putting them on, I couldn't tighten the strap tight enough to hold the VR on my head. right, so they are useless to me. I took them off very carefully, although now my head is scratched and ruined. Be sure to read all reviews, especially the bad ones.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

I got these for my Oculus Rift S as the headset speakers can be quite quiet even at 100% during chats. I love how loud they are and the sound is great to me. The reason I gave it 2 stars isn't for the person who has to keep removing it from the headset after use because it damages the Oculus headband wherever you clip the headphones. (Let's assume... if you store your Oculus in a headset case with enough room for an Oculus like mine).

  • A Dream Come True

Headband Restrictions

I may have a smaller head than most who buy VR, but the latches make it impossible to lock the headset in the perfect position. Which is a big disappointment as the product itself is phenomenal. The sound quality and directionality is fantastic, the cord is long enough to avoid distractions, and the setting on the headphones themselves is a 5/5. The only issue is a design flaw that makes the Rift S more suitable for larger heads. If your head is above average when it comes to hats, you should…

Very good although they could be more versatile

Not bad although this is the only closed headphone option at the moment. I'm a sound engineer so this review is for practical use but with an understanding of what really good sound can be. This is currently the only option I could find for closed-back headphones for the Rift. SI wanted them so I could stream with my external mic for better mic sound without grabbing the external mic out of the open headphone jacks. This is why the more common mods that mount the Koss Porta-Pro driver set don't

  • Feels good

  • Not the best

Clips not attached to headset

I was doubly sure they were for the occulus headset I was wearing bought them expecting they would live up to the good reviews given i have seen The headphone clips do NOT attach to the VR headset at all. I can't even put it on without both of them falling off. I have to superglue them to my headset to keep them in place. So I happily shelled out a pair of headphones that I would use to validate my new headset. It's one thing if they're a little loose, but THERE IS NO HANDLE AT ALL, they fall…

  • Includes 1 pair of earphones NO clamp

Not for everyone

I would like to anticipate that I may have a narrow little head, my Index in-ear headphones are wide and quiet and have no adjustment to compensate. As for this and my Rift S, it's the same thing, moreover they interfere with the Halo ring's adaptability to be quite tight, probably due to my extraterrestrial skull. It's all being given out now, even though I got it for free in exchange for an honest review, so here it is. I am a 6 foot adult male, bowler hat, 180 pounds, middle aged, Yata…

High sensitivity for 122dB/mW and low impedance for 32 ohms. The headphones are marked with the letters "L" and "R" and only play one sound channel at a time.
