Impressive - a bit weak but 5/5!

I wish there were more parts, sometimes they are a bit unstable depending on the assembly, but we also bought this for our 2 year old son, he only uses it under supervision. but he LOVES it! The flares are amazing, it doesn't take long to charge with light, but they're cool, and it's very interesting for him to look at them through a tube.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

my daughter loves it

Easy assembly, stands well, wobbles, not fixed. I hooked up my black flashlight to test glow in the dark ma'am. I remember the ones I had as a kid, well made and very durable, it's a very cheap set, it shouldn't cost more than $20 a dime unless they had about 50 more then I could justify 30 . My daughter thinks it's cool and that's the main thing. I give three stars for quality and price.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Fun for the whole family!

I almost didn't buy it because it's expensive but I'm so glad I bought it. My whole family is excited about it. My 4 year old loves balloons. My eight is your old lady and your husband loves to build with her. It's literally fun for the whole family. We had a different brand and could only build like this and according to the instructions. I like that the building possibilities are almost limitless. It's almost a shame that we didn't get a larger set.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

Fun and exciting toy!

I bought this for my 6 1/2 year old grandson so I made it for him. I was referring to the picture in the brochure because I had his 2.5 year old brother running around picking up lots of parts. One word of advice, don't keep a 2 year old around when you pick them up lol. Anyway, my grandson likes it a lot and enjoys it a lot. He likes it when the balls glow in the dark. I am very glad that I bought this marble walkway. It is very well made and strong. Highly recommended!

Very great - marble runs

Gave this to my 11 year old for Christmas and he loves it! Good quality and the glow in the dark feature works well and it even comes with a mesh pouch to put your parts in. I took off a star because I can't find additional item sets on National Geographic and am having trouble finding compatible items. Not sure how well it would play I didn't want to buy a huge set right away, and I now find that I can't (currently) just buy the expansion pieces.

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Not sure

Fun, durable and high quality.

I bought it for my children aged 4 and 7. Both love it, as do I. It's relatively easy to assemble. My 7 year old followed the base stabilization booklet's recommendation by starting with a triangular shape and was able to do so with no problem. My 4 year old made it himself but it tipped over because it got too big and didn't have any support posts. However, he learned, and that is the most wonderful thing about this toy. It makes them think about how to build. The beads are great, we didn't…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

So much fun we had to get a big set too

This set goes with the standard sets if you want to expand it but of course the glow in the dark balls are only visible when passing through they go through. transparent parts of National Geographic sets. Now we have about 500 pieces and the grandkids are having a lot of fun with them. After playing around with this set we got another glow in the dark set that didn't sell out at Revain (this one is the largest) and then added two smaller ones. It was her "big" Christmas present. They always…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I'm not saying anything

Not the quality I expected.

Bought a medium sized set. The box came and was re-taped. Inside, none of the parts were in plastic or a bag, just lying in a box, including some balls. All parts are scratched and look like they have been used. As it is for 3 and 5 year olds I ended up putting it together. I'm shocked at how weak he is. Some parts don't fit tightly and this makes it very unstable and the 5 year old who figured out what to build was frustrated at how quickly it would fall. As I look after my grandchildren all…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

A fabulous marble run set for all ages! Best choice in my opinion

Ordered a large set mainly because the other one was out of stock at the time and now I'm very glad I did. There are always parts left over because we are still learning how to actually build from them. We built very tall ones and I hope to find more ways to make them wider and not so tall. There are so many possibilities! Lots of interesting shapes and details to use. The flares are very pretty and you can use regular glass balls too, which is a plus. The video I've included is just one of…
