Be sure to check if the desired lakes are covered.

I would never have bought this if I didn't have a card card to give away for a discount. Covering the Lakes of Colorado I go very bad: Carter, Horstus, Boyd, Jumbo, Sterling, Barr, Jackson and many others. C-Map Genesis just keeps getting better and better.

Pros
  • Marine Electronics
Cons
  • Something's Wrong

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good electronic charts covering more than I thought

Great topographical charts for reference, expensive but if you fish more than one lake especially for tournaments it's great (good updates and info on small ones stones/obstacles/trees). If you don't fish or fish in several lakes you might reach for a paper topographic map from time to time, they are a lot cheaper! Most don't mention it, but it actually covers a large amount of seawater (San Diego Bay and a decent amount offshore).

Pros
  • Car electronics
Cons
  • I don't remember

The largest river in the western states, actually a series of lakes known as the Columbia River, gets mostly very ignores little cover. The second largest river in the west, actually a series of lakes known as the Snake River, also has very little coverage. East Washington's second most popular fishing and hunting lake, Potholes Reservoir, is not covered at all. Considering where I spend most of my time on the water, it's a waste of money.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
