Good attachment, poor attachment

The anchors that come with the kit are full of junk. They didn't last and fortunately I didn't trust them or my projector would have blown to dust in a 9 foot free fall.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Decent but with a few inconveniences

EDIT: I figured out how to capture horizontal movement a little better. First I installed the projector by screwing it all the way in and then tightening the lock nut so the projector was snug against the projector. It had horizontal play. Instead, I loosened the jam nut until it just touched the base of the screw mount, tightened the projector until it was lined up with the jam nut (ball joint locked), and then loosened the ball joint to align the projector. It still doesn't feel as secure as…

  • Decent performance

Excellent mounting, poor mounting hardware

The anchors in the kit are complete scrap. They didn't last and fortunately I didn't trust them or my projector would have blown to dust in a 9 foot free fall.

Pros
  • Sturdy and Stable: The sturdy steel case can withstand up to 5 kg / 11 lbs, more than enough to carry any Nebula projector including Cosmos Max.
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

Terrible Hardware

Supplied with broken dowels. Now I'm literally screwed. 4 large holes in the ceiling and broken drywall anchors. For $40, they might at least include the right hardware. Well it's a joke. They don't even include extra hardware in case you drop something while trying to install. Completely unimpressed.

Pros
  • Easy Adjustment: Adjust the length from 11.02" to 16.14" by simply loosening and tightening the screw to find the perfect position for your projector.
Cons
  • New competitors

First I installed the projector by screwing it all the way in and then tightening the lock nut so the projector was snug against the projector. It had horizontal play. Instead, I loosened the jam nut until it touched the base of the screw mount, tightened the projector until it matched the jam nut (ball joint locked), and then loosened the ball joint to align the projector. It still doesn't feel as safe as we'd like but it is safe…

Pros
