Black-Base Photo Snow Globe Review

Bought for the daughter of a family friend. She loves it! Part of the globe turned out to be not as studenty as I thought - it's made of a material-like plastic and is flattened a bit - other than that I have no problem!

Great gift! We have changed photos and are happy to present Grandma! It was great value for money and it's more than I thought it would be. It's not glass it's plastic which I like as it breaks less but still feels very strong. I will recommend this to others.

They were as expected. We gave it to our family and everyone loved it. We used a wallet-sized photo that we cropped. The picture is easy to paste, at first I was confused how to remove the bottom, but only to shake it a little and pull it down, and not twist it. Would definitely buy again.

It was more than I expected and it's fantastic! I bought it as a gift and it was great! Although the globe is not made of glass but plastic, it still looks like glass on a shelf. Opening instructions are included so it took me a minute to figure out how to open them (came back here to find the instructions in the item descriptions). Very happy with this purchase and the recipient and his family loved it!

My 5 year old asked for a snow globe for Christmas so this seemed like a perfect fit. When it arrived I was amazed. It's much nicer than I expected! I plan to buy more to give away for Christmas. This is perfect if you want to make a personalized gift but don't have the time; Insert family photo and you're done. I think they will be a big hit. I know I would love to get one!

Dome is durable plastic rather than glass. It's still just as transparent and you won't notice the difference until you touch it. The bottom can be easily removed to change the image. Last Christmas I bought 3 snow globes for different relatives and they all arrived safely. The only problem is that some of the bottom pieces didn't want to stay in place and kept slipping when held down. Not a big deal and definitely not a problem for the price!

The globe is made of plastic which easily collapses when touched - the base has to be removed to allow images to be inserted but this is not without pressure on the globe which feels like it will crack or burst and drain all the water. Instead, there should have been a twist. The instructions are in the ball on part of the picture frame and are difficult to read. It wasn't possible to open it, but it was supposed to be a gift. Would not buy this product. Lost my money!

I tried to open it by twisting and pulling at the same time, but apparently it didn't open properly. It opens by simply pulling the base of the sphere straight down with a slight wiggle. This is the perfect snow globe for the perfect personalized gift. I will give it to my brother who lost his son in a car accident last year. My nephew loved snow, but south Texas doesn't get snow. It snowed for my nephew's birthday this year! It will be an emotional gift, but PERFECT! RIP Mark Martinez…
