INCREDIBLY high speed. for the price of

If you have a Comcast Triple Play with Voice, stop reading now and buy this modem. I bought it to save $10 a month on renting an outdated Arris modem that we got when we first got triple play. I wish this was available sooner. We estimated a maximum download speed of 75Mbps and a maximum upload speed of 10Mbps. With Arris, I never got above 32 Mbps unless it was 3:00 am when I sometimes hit 35 Mbps. The first thing I did when I installed this app was run speed tests from different sources on my

I'm satisfied - no complaints

Since it turned out that Revain groups reviews of similar products, I first realize that I am writing a review of Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi cable modem with dual phone line support. I paid Revane $279.99. Apparently there are other models of "AC1900" routers and this is not one of them. I bought it to replace a wireless cable modem that I rented to Comcast for $10 a month. Now it looks like it will be 28 months before I see a return on investment. It's okay if my new modem keeps working for

Would give 0 stars if possible

I've had this router for a year now. This is by far the worst router I've ever owned. Not sure if Comcast firmware updates are causing this or if it's just the router itself. Pros: - Has fast boot capability - Has USB ports for network printers or drives. Cons: - constantly needs to reboot, but no power. Press , the device must be restarted via the browser interface or unplugged from the power cord. The battery stops charging after less than a year. At €40 for a battery, it's not worth buying a

Best modem for Xfinity Triple Play

If you have Xfinity Triple Play and want to get rid of €10 monthly rent, you need this modem. It looks just like the Cisco 3941T and has the same great performance, but completely different software. While not as easy to set up as Xfinity's own modems, I find it more secure. Installation was a lot easier than I expected. I unplugged the Cisco 3941T I rented from Xfinity and installed the C7100V. Once connected, I followed the instructions in the manual and logged into the router from my…

Works very well with Xfinity high speed data, not so well with voice

Bought when it was released a few months ago to use with my Xifinity. I waited several months to share my experience with him. It was brand new at the time of installation and even the Xfinity engineers couldn't find it on their list of supported modems. I have to say, if you place this modem next to the Xfinity modem, it's almost identical! The only difference is the logo. Setup was fairly easy, the printed instructions that came with the modem are accurate. Just follow this and you can't go…

With this modem, the Internet never bothers you...

This is an overview of the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Cable Modem Router with 2 Voice Lines for XFINITY (C7100V). I have Comcast Blast internet service that is not usually available. I have 150 Mbit/s (measured with speedtest.net). However, I still found surfing the web (even with WIRED connections) to be FUN - each new page usually took 2-4 seconds to be fully drawn - who has time for that?! I just assumed that this performance would be as good as it was in 2017 ("zzzzzzzzzzz") and to be honest,

After 6 months I had to pay another $90 for a service call.

I bought this because with Comcast Xfinity if you want to add a phone you need a router modem that can deliver internet and phone. Is it expensive. And what's worse, exactly 6 months and 1 week after I bought it, it stopped working. Comcast told me to call Netgear if Comcast couldn't get it to work and Netgear asked me to pay $90 for a 6 month service contract so they could help me. In the end they just told me to put a paper clip in the reset button for 2 minutes to reset it. I spent $90 on…
