Description of Netvisor OS

Netvisor is a virtualized Network Operating System (NOS) that provides a best-in-class layer 2 and layer 3 networking foundation, distributed fabric intelligence and virtualizes the switch hardware, similar to how VMware virtualizes a bare metal server.

Easy and intuitive management tool that will keep admins happy

I like having all of my network devices managed from one place instead of several different ones including Cisco Nexus switches as well as Juniper JUNOs/JXs etc. It's not free but it does come with some pretty good features for what you get in return such as VSS support which makes managing backups much easier than manually backing up each device individually. The UI can be confusing at first if you are new or haven't used this product before so make sure your familiar enough with your way…

Pros
  • Easy monitoring
  • Excellent remote management capabilities using Web interface
  • Full SNMPv3 Support (not often seen these days)
  • Supports VLAN tagging & Q inQ, allowing L2 VPN connectivity between two sites separated by an MPLS link.
  • Uses industry standard protocols
  • OSPF / BGP4 + routing
Cons
  • Good but not great

Easy and simple solution that will benefit many aspects

The software has been very easy for me to learn as I have had experience with Cisco switches in my previous job but am new at this level of network engineering/management so it was great having someone who could walk through things step by step! It's not really anything about netvisor itself - everything seems pretty good from what we've seen thus far. There are no problems or issues yet regarding its use within our organization. We're using NetVisor primarily because of all of the benefits…

Pros
  • Also if something goes wrong during an outage then they can be used again immediately after repair time period ends since configuration remains saved locally until otherwise deleted manually via UI before re installation begins
Cons
  • Some cons

Superb user experience, even just signing up is nice & simple

The ease of use for configuring network connections in VMs from any device with internet access makes this software great! It's very easy to configure devices such as switches or routers using OVH managed services without having all physical equipment at hand. There are some limitations when it comes to configuration options which can be improved upon by adding more features such as better support for vRack appliances including routing protocols like BGP etc., but overall I'm happy so far…

Pros
  • Easy setup
  • Ability connect remote sites over Wifi, no need extra hardware (router) needed.
  • Works well if you have multiple users working offsite simultaneously
Cons
  • Some problems
