Awesome pressure does not need to be pressed as hard

Awesome pressure does not need to be pressed as hard as my original cheap cartridge gun. The sharp poker is also longer, making it easier to pierce some items. An improvement only if the pressure could hold better. Many times after you stop squeezing, the pressure still slows down, so the sealant continues to release for a while. You have to be careful not to make a mess. But other than that it's amazing. Also solidly built.

Cheap professional caulking gun

Why do you need a professional caulking gun? Well, if you want to caulk anything other than crappy latex caulking at a rate greater than "every few years" then you deserve to use a real caulking gun to get the job done well. Some glue and rubber sealant can be incredibly difficult to get out of the tube, but this gun gets the job done with little effort. The control you have over your pearl couldn't be better. Think of it this way: Will you spend more than twenty dollars on sealing next year…

I will never buy a cartridge gun again!

As a previous user of cheap caulking guns from the big department stores, I can honestly say that caulking guns are second to none! At first I was sure I wanted to spend $24 on a caulking gun, but I'm so glad I did - gone were my aching hands from many feet clutching cheap caulking guns. Once you master it, you'll save half your time - literally. I haven't used a pen cutter, but I don't prefer it. The grip is very ergonomic and the mechanical advantage of the trigger is great. Go and buy it…

The most amazing caulking gun I've ever used!

This is definitely the most amazing caulking gun I have ever used. I bought it specifically for high viscosity materials like Sika Crack Flex Concrete Sealer because my typical large box gun was causing severe wrist pain and hand muscle spasms when squeezing the product out with two hands; I was never able to use a tube in one application because my hands were so sore. But this weapon completely changes the rules of the game! I just applied a whole tube of Sika with two fingers and a thumb. The

Best gun on the market, HANDS DOWN

I am a licensed roofer and use a caulking gun several times a day. Oh my gosh I can't believe it took me so long to buy a REAL caulking gun. The expensive blue sold at the popular hardware store is so inferior to it that it's not funny. and they cost about the same. I had a project that required 30 tubes of caulking material and without this caulking gun I would have killed my hand pulling the trigger. The draw ratio is perfect, but it takes some getting used to once you've used a regular…

Great product for all your caulk and urethane needs

I've done a lot of housework and worked in the construction industry for 10 years and I never thought you could have caulk guns with different draw ratios (or gauges). I've always used a cheap caulk gun and then complained when I had to use liquid nails. Recently my car window came loose from the plastic latch on the actuator and I had to reattach the glass to the actuator. In my research I discovered that it was necessary to use glazing urethane to attach the window to the plastic and I…

Works very well, but not without drops

This will blow the minds of those from the big store. There is no comparison. If you don't want drops, you will be very disappointed with this gun. I see it being criticized in some reviews for lack of drops. It is what it is. Works well and doesn't drip. It's like complaining that your carpet vacuum is not a wet/dry vacuum. You don't want a drip, then go ahead and get drip-free water. I can see where the lack of drops is a big problem for those going fast with one of them. I don't want to have

Day and night performance compared to the chip

My finger joints have been hurting lately. It took all my strength to use this cheap caulking gun and it's very difficult to compact more viscous materials like glue and aggregate. I wanted to buy an electronic caulk gun but it is very expensive. Until I do some research and find out that there are cartridge guns with a different ratio. This pistol is of the utmost importance. It took very little effort to squeeze the same stuff between this gun and a cheap gun. However, the construction of the

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Pleasant to use, easy to use, smooth operation and easy to spread landscape glue compared to our regular caulking gun. We struggled to get halfway through the normal tube and it was almost impossible to get rid of the sealant residue at the end. A conventional gun would start to bend due to the pressure we apply and the resistance of the sealant. Also, the middle one was difficult to control when you have to press so hard with both hands. What back pain but it? It was full one-handed control…

Comparison Newborn 250 18:1 vs SolidWork 26:1

I bought both guns as I wasn't sure which would work best for my application. They look very similar, almost identical, but there are a few differences up close. Newborn (NB) is slightly heavier than SolidWork (SW). The buttons look almost the same, with a slight flex on the stationary (rear button) on the SW, but no flex on the NB. The piston looks the same, although that on the NB is gray steel (and a gray steel spring) which is likely to rust, and that on the SW is shiny (nickel plated?)…
