Easy replacement

I was concerned I would have to program the replacement but once you put the batteries in it was magic. This is the perfect replacement for the original. The button layout is the same, the thickness is the same, and they work like a charm. Nothing superfluous.

Better than other more expensive substitutes.

Better than my last replacement. Good range, no line of sight required. I can point it at the wall behind me and it still works fine. The keys respond well. But no mute or sleep buttons? I've never seen a remote control without it, but still 5 stars for good functionality and a good price.

No programming required

The first thing that struck me is that it is SUPER light. My old remote was light (not big, just enough to feel like it was made out of more durable materials). I love that it had a Netflix button, just like my old remote. We don't have cable, so it's very convenient. I also like that it worked easily with our TV and no programming was required.

Works Perfect!: A/V Accessories

This is my SECOND replacement remote (my son either loses it or it breaks) and first time I've been to the manufacturer but it was expensive and took time weeks until it arrived. This remote control is exactly the same as the manufacturers, but cheaper and delivered much faster! No need to program the remote control or anything, just insert batteries and you're done! Thanks very much!

Much better than the original

I have two Phillips TVs and the original remote that came with it is junk at best. Constant problems with both, the buttons stick or just don't work unless you press the buttons so hard you think the remote will break. This replacement is very good. Looks like the original but the remote control works great. In my opinion a must if you have these TVs.

Not all buttons work with the TV

I ordered a replacement remote as the original remote had no numbers. You can't just press 12 to get channel 12. You have to scroll up or down to get your feed. I ordered a replacement remote, thinking it would be easier with numbers. But, unfortunately, the numbers on the remote control do not change the channel. So it was a waste of time to replace it.

As everyone said. Put batteries in this remote control and tada! It works even better than the original remote control! Just before the last few days I had to keep pressing the buttons and often the original remote didn't work! Instead of spending 25.00 on a factory replacement I spent less than 10.00 and couldn't be happier. Of course everyone produced has a defect and I've seen some negative reviews, but I would just ask for a refund and get another one to see if the next one works. So that's
