High performance P-trap and no leakage.

I needed this to replace a P-syphon in an HVAC condensate line that was freezing in extremely low temperatures. The standard bathroom fixtures were too light. This solved the original problem. Tip: Make sure the drain line has a positive slope to the drain and protect pipes that are at risk of freezing. Some contractors are not careful enough.

Pros
  • Smooth interior to reduce friction and material build-up
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Kitchen Sink Large P Siphon

This is a full 2 inch P Siphon. The best way to avoid clogs under the kitchen sink. This is PVC Graphics 40, not flimsy material. If you hit it with something heavy, it won't break or move. HIGH QUALITY. Worth every penny. Highly recommend (use hardware to make it easy to take apart until the end 2" wall comes out and add a clean just in case.).

Pros
  • PVC-DWV for corrosion resistance, high strength and lighter weight than metal fittings
Cons
  • Large and bulky

I had to re-dig under the sink after installing it.

After installing a new drain I had to reinstall it under the sink as the plumbing was ripped 1/2 inch. I spent a whole day trying to find this part locally. The part was NIBCO 4895-B. I ordered it hoping it would fit. It only comes with one extra part that I threw away. It fits and works perfectly. Thanks Revain for helping me again!

Pros
  • Meets ASTM D2665 and D3311 Quality Assurance Specifications
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Replacing a kitchen siphon with a new sink.

Apparently no longer commercially available. The house was built in 2000. So I ordered this trap and I'm having trouble with it leaking no matter how hard I try to line it up with another PVC. If you look closely, the edges of the docking appear as flat spots. I'm assuming this is the source of the problem, although I've noticed it with other PVC fittings. So I took some teflon tape (not white) that was thicker and flattened the top of the joint and then put it back together. So far so good, no
