This evil rumble!

I can't fault the performance of this fan; It delivers the same cooling results as the stock 140mm NZXT Kraken X63 fans with almost 40% less RPM and noise. But there's that nasty mid-range hum that gets louder when the rpm's are in the 750-900 rpm range; it's just impossible not to notice. The sad part is that the optimal fan curve for my system is within that RPM range for the temperature range my CPU typically runs in, so it's a deal breaker! UPDATE #1 6/29/2020: Two days ago, Wo noticed that

I've always heard that Noctua is good.

But not so good! I always thought they were ugly tan and brown fans and other well known brands were just as good. NO. I was very wrong. They replaced one of the two on my case that had failed from another OEM (I still LOVE their case). So I decided to just replace them both like that and make them fit together. Rubber bushings are good too. Place the black ones on the metal side and the red ones on the inside of the case. TIP place them on both sides. One for cushioning, the other for…

THE BEST FANS ARE HERE! DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE!

These are the best fans you can get. It's like buying a German car, only built differently and designed better. Now that they're in black instead of the old brown, that's no problem! They move a lot of air and are very quiet. This is what you need if you want to push hot air out of the case OR pull cold air in. If you can fit them, just take 140mm for the front, back and top! They are ideal for static pressure and moving air. Only use 120 if 140 absolutely doesn't suit you!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Useless features

But great fan of Noctua.

Excellent fan. The performance and noise levels are exactly what you would expect from a Noctua fan. However, it looks like Noctua's adopted child as it doesn't come with the same accessories as Noctua's classic beige and brown fan. They've made the cord that connects to this fan longer so an extension cord may not be needed, but it also doesn't come with a Y-adapter, silent adapter, or silicone mounts. The kit comes with colored anti-vibration mounts, but only 4 of each color. So you need to…

good fans wild cables. Tricky anti-vibration mounts.

Anti-vibration feet are strange. The rubber is a little softer than expected and easy to use. Initially I thought they were meant to mechanically isolate the fans from the case to allow the fans to float, but in practice they are cushions to cushion the contact between fan and case so even if the screws holding the fans loosen a little , The vibration of the case makes the fans rattle. The fans themselves don't rattle, so it's not necessary, but I think they look nice. I don't understand why…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Long delivery

Very good case fan. The volume is excellent and barely noticeable under normal load (the volume was also good under load). The screw holes aren't screwed in with coils, but apparently that's common for fans. Cons: - Mine is made in China, not Taiwan. I don't know if the Chromax line is made in Taiwanese versions, but I've read that the Taiwanese versions are better quality. You will only receive 4 of each color for the vibration pads. So if you want your fan to be a color, you may need to…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Nothing here

Pretty much everything you heard was true.

The first thing to note is that some people say these fans are "noisy" at high speed. I have these fans in an NZXT S340 heatsink on a special cycle that runs 24/7 with the 3080 FE running at full load (because it's mining). The video memory of a Stock 3080 can easily reach 110°C under full load. In a water cooled circuit that drops to the mid 80's and below the 90's depending on the ambient temperature. I bought these fans to replace some Corsair AF140. In comparison, they lowered the…

and they are big fans. They are very durable

I bought half a dozen of these fans to replace all my case fans (they are now black thank goodness) and they are great fans. They are very durable and I was surprised at how heavy they were compared to all the fans I've had before. Some fans seem to have a strange vibration at certain speeds, but nothing serious as a 2-3% change made the noise go away. They push a lot of air and are relatively quiet. They can get loud at 100%, but then cooling has top priority.

The product does not match the description, poor quality.

The fan is well-assembled, looks normal and has a set of multi-colored anti-vibration rubber corners, very quiet operation, a high-quality durable bearing is declared, but all these pluses are secondary, the main thing for the fan is the efficiency of blowing out the internal space of the PC and this is the weak side of this fan, it works well only if there are no obstacles in the way of the air flow, none at all, even ventilation grilles. For its cost, a set of accessories could be richer and…

Pros
  • Build Quality, Packaging, Low Noise, Appearance (Not Coffee Brown)
Cons
  • Low airflow, very high cost

i bought myself a special anti-noise case, but it turned out that there was only one fan in it, and that one was for blowing. moreover, this fan was very noisy, and definitely did not fit into the concept of a quiet computer. well, ok, what to do - i began to look for the 120th fan to replace it. i read a lot of reviews and reviews. i settled on noctua nf-s12a pwm. and the standard beige color of noctua did not suit me. the case is black, the fan should also be black. therefore, the chromax…

Pros
  • - really silent. well, very straight - the special shape of the impeller makes it ideal for case blowing fans - many colored anti-vibration pads - perfect for cases with windows
Cons
  • i dont even know what to complain about. maybe its because the packaging of the chromax series is not as rich as the usual noctua
