Maybe it's the right filter. Who knows?

The filter seems fine, but there are two problems: 1) There is no product information on the filter itself. Only the shipping box shows which filter is inside. The filter itself is devoid of part numbers or identification information. It can also be something completely different and we, the customers, will not notice the difference. 2) Filter NOT A STANDARD SIZE of any other 20x25 filter. It is less. And so it doesn't quite filter all of the air going through your air conditioner. Allows air…

Actual vs Nominal Size Check Lesson

Purchased to replace CF200A1016 which is out of stock. Little did I know the difference would be darn close to 1 inch in the same advertised size. I don't understand why they can't advertise it as a 3.5 vs 4 3/8 (CF200A1016). To be clear this product was what was advertised but I didn't check the size because I didn't know I needed it. I would love to return it but am only spending $50 for a replacement which should work =1557524126&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&th=1

Works perfectly! Just measure beforehand!

Fits and works well; much better than the OE that came with the system. Don't believe all the bad reviews (Filters usually get a lot of bad reviews because people order by nominal size. 2x4 isn't really 2"x4" ;-) .). BEFORE ORDER; Take a few minutes and write down the actual size of your old filter (should be printed on the page and all vary by manufacturer), then measure your system's filter opening (e.g. my system may use a slightly larger filter) . than what was included). LAST: Read the…

Good product, good price, I will buy more in the future

This is the second time I order Nordic Pure filters. They work well, help clean the air, and are fairly effective for their 18 HEPA rating (a higher HEPA rating means more resistance to the air flowing through them, so you need a balance). The price is good and they last a lot longer in smaller parts of the house where we don't run the HVAC that often. Even if one of them was not (accidentally) replaced for 6 months, it was still breathable and worked well with the layer of dust on the cleaning

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Fits

I don't know what H*** is but it's not what is pictured on the page!

First of all they have nothing to do with the 4" filter. Fit in my 4" filter well. You can tell from the picture they are literally 1 inch thinner than my Honeywell filters. Second, there was no marking whatsoever on the filter other than the size. No manufacturer, no Merv rating, no filter costs, no specs. Nothing. Nada. No markings on the box. Nothing! These might be the cheapest Chinese filters you can get with a Merv 3 rating as far as I know. DO NOT BUY THESE THINGS. 4" filters and I'm not

Pros
  • One year trial

  • Only available in white

ATTENTION: 3 5/8 ", NOT 4 3/8 "

If you are looking for a replacement/alternative for Honeywell #FC100A1037 this is NOT what you are looking for . This filter is 3 5/8 inches thick while the Honeywell filter is 4 3/8 inches thick. Instead, you'll want the Nordic Pure 20x20x5 - it's the same dimensions: 19 7/8 x 24 7/8 x 4 3/8 as Honeywell. The 20 x 25 x 4 labeling is misleading or at least allows regular homeowners (as opposed to HVAC technicians) to end up ordering the wrong product. Also, out of the four orders I've ordered…

Too small for advertised size 20 x 25 x 4

Actual size 19 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 3 5/8 (19.5 x 24.5 x 3.63). It was listed in the description so I'm embarrassed I didn't rush over to my oven with a tape measure and measure the filter slot. I was too lazy and thought: well, if it says it fits, then that must be the size I need. The one star rating is given for the misleading headline that it fits in the 20 x 25 x 4 oven slot. It leaves just over an inch of clearance for unfiltered air to flow right past it. As a result, the MERC 12 rating is…

Pros
  • Made in USA

Excellent Product. We have been using this brand of filter in our oven for 4 years and change it every 6 months. international industry standard. This standard is used to determine the ability of filters to capture and retain dirt and dust within specific size ranges. A MERV score of 12 means that the average particle size efficiency in microns is 1.0 - 3.0 80 - 89.9%, 3.0 - 10.0 90% or more. Filters with a MERV rating of 9 to 12 are used in commercial and industrial applications and retain…

Caution when used with Electronic Air Ionizer

I have a complete Bryant Evolution heating and cooling system, including the GAPAA2025 Perfect air purifier. This is an electrostatic ionization unit that requires non-metallic air filter cartridges. I temporarily used Nordic Air 20x25 filters during a renovation as they are much cheaper than Bryant filters. I heard a very fast clicking sound coming from the filter section. My HVAC Tech technician showed me where the small wires on the back of the Nordic filters were grounded, causing sparks on
