The box is thin and flimsy, but you can use it; great paper!

The storage box is pretty skimpy for the paper it's filled with - it's actually a relief to use some paper to make more room in the box. Otherwise it's great - a good range of colors and a reasonable number of leaves for each color. Great starter kit. There is no white so I bought it separately.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Skimpy

I wish they were white on one side

I knew they were colored on both sides when I bought them but after working on some origami projects with my kids I really wanted that one side is white. It would make things easier and the final object would look better. It's also a great origami paper. My biggest complaint is that they are stuffed quite tightly into the box they come in. So it's a bit difficult to pull out just one sheet at first until you start using a few of them.

Great price and quality but not quite square

So. As mentioned in most reviews, this is great value for the number of sheets you get. However, it doesn't look like most origami papers I've used in the past. It's still better than regular paper and holds the crease well. Some sheets appear grainy, almost like thin colored paper. If it makes sense The leaves are also not perfectly square. So far I've only folded cranes with one color of each color, and only a few of them didn't need trimming. They differ by 1-2 mm.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

Mediocre folding paper

The paper is a little crooked, but when folded it's not that noticeable. The texture of the paper is like thin thick paper, which I don't think is suitable for detailed creases. If you know how to fold, then you might not like this paper. If it's for kids learning to add, it's fine. The paper tends to tear at tight folds and does not lend itself to minor adjustments. The sheets are the same color on both sides and I think some of the creases are a little hard to see. Either way, that's a lot of

Good thick paper

This paper has carbon weight compared to ordinary origami paper, it is more like Chiogami paper. That means it's denser/thicker than cheaper origami paper. This can be a problem with some more complex folding operations. The "two-sided" color is correct because the paper is that color all over. does not print like typical origami paper or most double-sided origami papers. However, I like the heavier weight as it makes my models feel and look more substantial. AI likes the packaging it comes in.

Kids love this paper

This is the second box of this origami paper that I have bought. Last school year my son's 3rd grade kids started with origami but spent much of their free time making simple squares out of paper so I bought a box of this paper to help them. They liked it. This year in 4th grade a whole new group of kids were making origami (I think the librarian digs it and encourages them) so I bought another box for his class. I showed them how to make cranes, but they really like making finger claws. Either

That's a great deal and great paper!

I find this very cheap and the paper seems to be of good quality. It's thin as it should be and folds well! These are exact squares and I really like this set. It has so many different colors and so many leaves of each color. No smell that I can find and the box opens quite nicely. The lid (when opened at the perforated part) slides easily back into place as it is only perforated on 3 sides instead of 4. Stores well and comes in a range of great colours, 4 green, 3 yellow, white, black, 3โ€ฆ

Thick, fibrous, dyed on both sides

I am a teacher. I use this product to teach origami to my students so I don't have to use better quality paper until the kids are ready for it. This paper is good. It can be used to teach the simplest origami. It's very fibrous, and that makes clean, precise lines really difficult. This makes the paper quite thick, making more intricate and precise patterns much more difficult to make. There is color on both sides which is useful for some purposes but again not the best for advanced origamiโ€ฆ
