Description of 🍴 OXO Tot Cutlery Set for Older Children - Navy

Perfect for training and transitioning tots to the grown up table because handles are appropriately sized and shaped for big kids. Stainless steel cutlery effectively captures and cuts food, promoting independence. Fork and knife include touch points that assist with cutting and designed for dexterity of children 3 plus. Looks like grown up cutlery and dishwasher safe. Coordinates with OXO tot bowl, plate and cups for big kids.

Great set of utensils for my son!

We are teaching our first child how to use forks, spoons and a knife and this makes a great learning set. The cookware handles are thin enough for easy holding. They're dishwasher safe, so cleaning is easy too! The fork and spoon are just the right size for him to eat his food (not too big and not too small)!

Not small! piss off!

This is the third time I've tried to find Revain Small Cookware. In the photo you can see the new OXO set in the middle. On the left, a teaspoon and a salad fork from our adult cutlery are almost the same size as OXO. On the right the size I'm looking for - as you can see almost half the height and size of the head. So if you're looking for small ones, don't take them. still searching

Perfect size for our 4 year old girl

Our daughter is 4 years old. This is the perfect size for her. She knows how to use regular sized utensils, but she likes to have her own pink and teal set. We've washed them in the dishwasher several times with no problems. They appear to be durable, not cracking or scratching. Try it! You will not be disappointed! Perfect for children, suitable for breastfeeding

My 1 year old granddaughter has outgrown the very small utensils she uses since she learned to eat by herself, but has not yet mastered adult tableware. This set is perfect for her and will probably work well until she is 6 years old or older. The parts are durable and easy to use. The only downside is that the tines of the fork are very rounded, preventing the fork from being used effectively to 'pierce' pieces of food.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Appearance

My son is almost 3 years old and has taken a keen interest in cutting his own food cut, so this seemed like a perfect first step. I like that the tops are metal rather than plastic and feel sturdy enough even though we've only had them recently. The knife is perfect for the first step - it's serrated, but doesn't cut into the skin (I've tried it myself, and even fairly vigorous movements leave no marks), and the tip is very blunt, it seems very safe.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Something is wrong

The perfect utensil for my 2.5 year old

We have used most of our plastic utensils since he first learned to eat solid foods and I wanted something more "Big Baby" at the time. He loves it very much! The spoon is a bit big for him (but it's small for his age), but he handles it pretty well without making a mess. The knife is "sharp" (I use the term loosely) so he can practice slicing fruit and cheese but won't hurt him while he works on those skills. The tines of the fork, in turn, are "sharp" enough to pierce the food relatively…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Not Just for Kids: Feeding

I bought this set for my mother who is in her 80's with Parkinson's and is in a nursing home. She felt that the cutlery used in the nursing home was too long for her mouth and throat and asked me to consider buying smaller cutlery. I first bought her a Oneida children's cutlery set and she loved it. However, the nursing home lost it to her. She wanted me to get her another set, this time engraved with her initials. I didn't want to spend the money to buy the set again plus the cost of the…

Large cutlery set for preschoolers

I bought my daughter a pink set and a turquoise set when she was 3 years old. The pink is the same as the picture but the turquoise looks a lot darker than the picture. Now she gets to use this knife herself, which makes her feel happy and like a big baby. Of course, this knife is not sharp for child safety reasons, nor is it intended for cutting steaks or pork chops. But she can cut eggs, fish, cakes, etc. and also spread butter and jam. I would say this is a great set for 3-5 year olds.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
