Works beautifully on cars and automotive electronics

I was a bit frustrated that I couldn't get the factory stereo to work with the amp in my Armada '04. I've tried other wiring harness adapters to get the speakers working with no success. I'm glad I researched and decided to do this. Installation was easy if you've installed a car radio before. The only problem was that both the blue and blue and white got caught on the power antenna cable. Once I figured it out, the sound quality is better than the factory head unit.

Pros
  • Isolated transformer inputs and outputs
Cons
  • I'll be silent

Perfect fit for my 99 i30!

So the factory Clarion head unit in my 1999 Infiniti i30 was dying. The lights continued to be dimmed, the bass was muted, and the high notes of many songs were loaded with harsh static. I'm very glad I chose PAC! The sound quality is phenomenal and crystal clear. I liked that the wires were already partially stripped at the ends. The worst part (for me at least) of installing a new head unit is having to strip and then connect all the wires. Thank you for making this tedious process a littleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Adjustable 4 channel RCA outputs for line level adjustment

Bought for 350Z '08

Fairly easy to install. I was hit in the head and the right side of my body was paralyzed, so if I can do it, so can you. I'm not too smart now, but just believe in you! I bought a heat gun and solder shrink connectors. You only adjust colors. There is a green wire and a green and red striped wire. I have poor eyesight so make sure you color match them. There are a few I haven't used, I'm thinking 3-5 and you just shrink them. The ground wire confused me but I soldered black to black but before

Pros
  • Isolated transformer inputs and outputs
Cons
  • Some small things

Good product! Works perfectly!

I recently installed a Metes dashboard kit on my 2004 G35 and thought the new stereo I installed was defective because I turned the volume to the max had to turn to get a good sound and the bass didn't sound as strong as the stereo. I heard about this product and installed it very easily within an hour and it has greatly improved my car's system with the new aftermarket stereo. Now my stereo can be turned up to a quarter volume and it sounds great. Now my g35 sounds like it has a powerfulโ€ฆ

Buy this if you have a factory Bose system!

Bought to replace the head unit on my 2004 Maxim with a factory Bose system. I've read that some of the other cheaper cable adapters didn't work properly with the Bose system depending on the RCA output voltage of your head units. Instead of messing around with the 'unknown', I spent the extra money and bought this device. Wow, it couldn't be easier! Simply connect the colored wires to the main unit (we used the positive high wires and just left the low wires unused) and plug the other end ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works in 02 Maxima with Bose Stereo

Replaced the Bose Head Unit in my 02 Maxima and found I had no bloody sound. After a few articles on google I found this, saw the price and said why not, it's a lot cheaper than replacing all the stock speakers and amps. I'm glad I did. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and it wasn't until I realized that the woofer cables are for units up to 100w or 25x4 and I am assuming that the tweeter cables should be used instead of 200w or 50x4 headunits these days. I'll try to use a high-endโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fits 1995 - 2002 Nissan vehicles with Bose Audio
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Bought a Pac Roem-Nis2 to close my 2003 Bose 350Z (Premium) 6 CD CD with Jensen VX7020 radio substitute . All the wires from the radio harness to the pac harness matched perfectly with the tall side speaker wires and I didn't need the steering wheel control wires as my car doesn't have one. I did a lot of research on this interface kit and the Metra 70-7551 wire harness. If you have a 2003 Nissan 350z with a premium Bose audio system with amplifier and subwoofer, that's all you need. It was aโ€ฆ

Works Great - Sounds Great - Tech Support

I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima with a Bose radio without navigation. I wanted better phone integration while driving. I ordered a Jensen MPR210, a PAC ROEM-NIS2 and a Scosche NN1498B dashboard. I had to call PAC with a few questions. The Jensen didn't have an orange wire for the backlight. PAC support advised me to just stick it on. Jensen had a blue wire to turn on the amplifier or antenna. PAC recommended connecting both amplifier power and antenna power to Jensen's blue wire. Finally it is nowโ€ฆ

Cons

The right solution when replacing a faulty Bose head unit in Nissan vehicles

I was helping a neighbor with a 2004 Pathfinder SE that was fitted with a Bose radio/amplifier system was. The battery died after 2-3 days if the car was not driven regularly. Reduced parasitic leakage current to the radio fuses that provide power to keep the head unit memory running, as well as the ability to eject CDs when the car is off. Something in the radio was "on" all the time, drawing 1/4 amp (250 milliamps) constantly, even when the car was completely off. I ended up biting the bullet

Pros
  • System interface to replace factory installed receivers and integrate factory amplifiers
Cons
  • Not sure
