Great Lighter Weight Ramp

Purchased to help an aging Corgi climb onto a bed and into a car. He's under 50 pounds and it's worked well. It took minimal training (20 minutes) to get the hang of it. It flexes and wobbles a little at the fold, but not enough to cause any problems. It's light enough that I can handle it with ease. The grip surface remains Velcro and is washable. Note. As with most ramps, it's easier to pick up the dog through the trunk of a car if you have an SUV or crossover. Make sure your limousine door…

Unfortunately it didn't work for my dog.

I really needed it to work with us and I read almost all the reviews. Unfortunately, although I did my best to stabilize the ramp, it wasn't safe for my 76-pound machine. He was shifting his weight from side to side trying to walk/swing on it, the ramp wobbled and he unfortunately fell. It was so sad because his favorite thing is skating. Luckily I tried folding the old sofa cushions to give him wide, deep steps to get in and out of. It's a bit fiddly to put the bags in the trunk and build…

Not for large dogs in transport and travel items

Bought for my 110 lb Pitty who has bone cancer and can't jump in a car. The top the dog walks on is great and allows the dog to hold on to avoid slipping. The bad part is that it has to be for dogs up to 150lbs and it seems like it flexes when my dog is on it. The main disadvantage of this product is that the floor has no grip and when placed on concrete it slips quickly and can be dangerous. Make sure you have 2 people to hold the top and bottom of the large dog ramp as it slipped off several…

Works for our lab Tote bags and travel products

We bought a 'Bi-Fold Ramp 66"L' for our gold lab and have been using it daily for over a month. It weighs but I think these are about 75 lbs. It's the right size. She's old and has arthritis in her back legs. We have a 2020 Honda CR-V and use it to climb into the back seat. Lay comfortably on the floor of the car against the open door - perfect fit. It flexes when she walks over it but not excessively. We stow it behind the front seats. Be careful of the weight of the ramp. Sturdy so it's not…

Durable with traction!

I recently bought a truck and my two medium sized dogs have a little trouble getting into the back seat. I bought this after returning another sandpaper ramp and she didn't like it at all. Me too because it was difficult to fold. This ramp is amazing. The green surface has more traction. This really gives their claws a chance to hook on when they come up. It's not that heavy and folds up very easily. My largest dog weighs 60 pounds. I can definitely see larger dogs using this with ease and…

Life just got easier.

If You Can't Lift a 65 Pound Hairy Dog in the Car! This rating is heavily based on using a mid-size SUV. Little did I know that the rear side doors in my car barely opened until I tried to push in that ramp. On the floor, on the seat; 16 inches was asking too much. Now I know. If I stabilize her (up to the seat) and walk her on a leash, she will stand up just fine. The ramp does not fall/slip; The rubber grips are decent and I even added extra ones. The grip on the ramp itself is also very…

Not perfect but good for the side tailgate of an SUV for a dog up to 50lbs

This ramp is for my almost 12 year old 47lb German Shorthaired Pointer. She has some weakness in her hind legs and jumped into the car with some difficulty and had rough landings when jumping. So I had my doubts that this ramp would work when I noticed that the side door of my 2004 Toyota 4Runner didn't open far enough for the ramp to be perpendicular to the side of the car. So I had to put the top of the ramp on the seat otherwise the edge of the door would cover part of the ramp. The first…

I like the idea of detachable shoulder straps.

I had to return this. Weight capacity is listed as up to 150#, tried my smallest (80#) dog and it flexed to the point I was afraid it would break. I ordered this for my older Giant Schnauzer number 102. He sprains his ankles sometimes and has mobility issues so I didn't want him to hurt himself getting into our cars when we take them out. He is 10 years old and although he is healthy I wanted to limit his jumping to keep him active. I would never count on that for him; I could imagine how it…

COMPLETE TRASH! UNSURE!

The most useless thing I've ever bought in my life! Arrived damaged from everywhere due to crushing in a cheap thin and flexible plastic frame. Says it can hold about 150 pounds which is a total JOKE! My old injured dog is 70 pounds and when he puts the slightest weight on his front paws on the ramp it bends into an inverted rainbow and my dog still has to climb the super unstable platform which slides out and the clamp is useless every time you do it deliver. I bought this ramp 2 years ago…

Ideal ramp: car ramps

Our Bouvier is 13 years old, she lacks maneuverability and also has some distance problems, so it became very difficult to get her into my truck or car. I'm 77 years old and had severe back problems so I can't lift it as usual. My husband explored the ramp and we decided to try the Pet Gear Travel Flashlight. Sage is with me everywhere, and of course I love my 1998 F150 truck, so there was no truck in their latest releases. Well, when they received the ramp, they were very surprised. I like the
