This is my first induction hob and I am very impressed with this cooking method. The speed and precise control of the heat applied to the pan is amazing. The device itself is of high quality - I had no problems with it - neither during installation nor during use. Excellent value for money and quality!

This is my second GE induction hob. I had a Viking gas cooktop which was great for my large wok, but I like the new induction cooktop for the speed and cleanliness. Nothing beats induction for speed and control, it's probably twice as fast boiling water than gas. Love it!

This hob works quickly. The cost of GE induction cooktops is much lower than specialty brands. It's attractive and sleek. As with anything black and glassy, some care is needed to keep it that way. I've heard some people complain about induction cooktops humming while using them. There is a slight hum from this hob, but it doesn't sound as loud compared to other background noise such as the ceiling fan. No regret.

We were so excited when the hob was installed on our new kitchen island, it looks great. We had a gas stove and chose induction to give the island a cleaner look as opposed to a bulky gas stove. We've had this product for over a month now and we love it! It wasn't that hard to get used to the way she cooks, but it was difficult to find the same type of pans we used on the gas stove (style and size). I look forward to coming home and cooking dinner.
