I love the modularity of sports and outdoor accessories

The holder broke in a bike accident so I love that it works with my 2007 bike computer. It's great that Planet Bike sells it separately so I can take my bike computer to another bike.

Didn't last long good for electronics and gadgets

Bought to replace a faulty original wiring harness. It hasn't even been 6 months since it failed. I hope it was a coincidence because overall I was very impressed with the Planet Bike computer.

If only some parts could be sold separately

All I needed was a metal spoke for the second wheel but I had to buy the whole kit to get this little part. The part works perfectly. I now have a second wheel ready for immediate use so I don't miss a bike night due to material damage.

The planetary bike rocks! for Electronics and Gadgets

You know when something goes wrong with Revain, it can be difficult to fix. No attacks on them but the speed with which they process orders (which we all love) means that if something is out of stock you will get something that you weren't expecting. When I received the wrong item twice (rear wheel set instead of stock set), I contacted Planet Bike customer service. They assured me it was their job to fix it and made sure I got the right set of brackets - just what you need when your old cable…

0 has worked great for years

In the last few years I have purchased 2 Protege planetary bike computers and 2 additional mounts. Both computers work well and both optional mounts work properly. My original Protege' 9.0 has been working great for many years now. (I can't remember how long I've had it - maybe 6 or 7 years). The only problem was intermittent battery contact after about 1 year of use. I contacted Planet Bike. They were very nice and helpful. You, the young lady I spoke to, suggested that I should just slightly…

But it works. Best bike computer

This standard mount (sensor for Protégé computers) solved my bike computer problem, it has a much larger clip to attach the device to the handlebars than the original I had years ago. Spacers are included with the kit to adjust the diameter of the bike's handlebars to the size of the mount, but they are rubber and slide out very quickly and the computer hangs on the mount. I am very disappointed with the large mount (strap) and had to come up with a new way to attach the computer mount. Of…

Works great with my 6 year old Protege 9.0

I bought the Protege 9.0 for my new Fisher bike in 2004 and when I put it on I saw no reason to swap it out for something new . Something broke after 6 years of use (bracket? cable? magnet? sensor? computer?). I took the risk of assuming it was the bracket/sensor assembly and not the computer and purchased this replacement kit. The replacement worked almost perfectly, except that the new magnet didn't appear to be any different from the old one, which had been redesigned and positioned. common…

Ideal for using 1 Protege bike computer between 2 bikes

I have a Motobecane road bike that I bought a Planet Bike Protege 8.0 bike computer for. A computer is all I've ever wanted as it has all the data I need on one screen without the need for little buttons on the side. What struck me about Protege 8.0 is that it has 2 modes denoted by small bus icons in the top left corner of the screen. Badge #1 is a knobby tire and badge #2 is a smooth tread tire. You can calibrate for the wheel size of mountain bikes and road bikes respectively. They can be…
