If you have a cat. good for seals

If your cat is planning to kill you (yes, there's an app for that) then you need this product. Use it to mend the tiny claw holes it made in your washing machine drain hose to flood your house and drown you. You may also need this to repair damage to your phone charger when it tries to bite it in half so you can't call for help.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

PRACTICALLY PERFECT! in Sealers

First: good points. It applies, dries and cures just as quickly as shown in the promo video. However, it clearly alerts the user that it may not stick to (non-ribbed) surfaces. I used it to fix my favorite pair of sunglasses but without sanding the surface of that area it kept coming off. A NOTICE. It's not the product's fault, but understand before you buy that it won't fix "everything and everything". Overall the product is excellent I believe for around 70% of home use.

Doesn't work for me.

Does anyone have this thing to work with. I used it on the clear plastic clips that hold the blinds in place and it didn't hold. I used a different plastic part and it fell apart easily. I used it on a coat hook over a door. I pulled on it a little and it fell apart. Disgusted, I gave it to my friend to try and he used it as a plastic piece. He said he's had similar results. Thought maybe if he switched to another brand he might get better results. He used it and showed me the plastic part he…

Weak, Very Weak Best in Adhesives and Sealants

The wind knocked my Rubbermaid dumpster over and broke one of the plastic posts holding the lid in place. The broken part is held in place by a plastic cover with two screws. I removed the lid and applied an adhesive material to the broken area and then peeled it off with LED UV light as instructed. The plastic stand seemed attached so I replaced the plastic cover and two screws. I left the container on its side when I repaired it, so I'm putting it back the right way. I lifted the lid and a…

Works great but note that the glue has to be opened

This is great for a quick fix and works better than superglue in many cases. I used them to fix a pair of sunglasses and a piece that fell out of the printer tray. In both cases, I was surprised how quickly and easily this can be remedied and how strong the connection is. Keep in mind that you will need to expose the joint to light, so this may not be ideal for all repairs. For example, I wanted to fix an emblem that had fallen off my sunglasses, but using this would require me to apply the…

this is a joke

I bought this to try and fix broken glasses. I decided to try an in-ear headphone first, where the plastic case holding the ear cup was cracked. The included instructions (as is) are poorly worded. I believe they were translated into English from another language. The instructions said to sand both ends for gluing and then clean them with rubbing alcohol. All of this did. It is recommended that repairs be made in thin coats and cured between coats. I applied 4 or 5 thin coats and allowed 6-10…

Bottom line, I lost $20. It's a flop.

Bottom line, I lost $20. It's a flop. It actually doesn't work as well as glue. If you want to connect something together, you need to build up material around the connection area. You see a piece of cloth. Therefore, the repair should be made in a place where it is not important that the material has grown and is visible. Too little material provided. Refueling is too expensive. I later discovered that there is an almost identical product on the market for half the price. Refills with this…

UPDATE: re: Some leak and LED not working

Wow. I'm disappointed. I really needed this thing to work. I was very impressed with the video. I read some reviews on here about pen liquid leakage and thought it might happen, but maybe their quality control will be tightened. I received this block and it was partially covered with spilled liquid material - not much. But it's not the material you want on your skin, and there's no getting around it unless you open the packaging with a cloth or paper towel. Also, the body of the pen is a lot…

Maybe not a panacea, but still a great thing!

Bondic is great! Let's start with a statement: Bondic is great! And then let's remove some caveats. 1) Bondic is in no way a substitute for superglue or epoxy resin. 2) It's not as strong as high quality epoxy and as it's not real glue it doesn't work well if it has edges or texture to grip - that's why they recommend roughing up the surface before application. Edges and textures that can be grabbed don't hold up well. Additionally, if your material is opaque, Bondic can be very difficult to…
