We just received the Ecto1 and it's amazing. Easy and fun assembly with a few stickers. The sound of the siren is identical to the real one, the light is very well made, the noise is not excessive. The top is removable so all the boys can get in. The kids (almost 4 and 6 years old) love it and have been playing with it for at least 3 hours now. Great gift for little ladies!

This toy has many details. Despite the age recommendation I ordered for a four year old who is obsessed with ghostbusters. He loves this car and spent hours creating stories with it as well as the Ghostbusters station he got for his birthday. He loves all the accessories that come with him. Putting together the detailed accessories was a nightmare, but when it's all put together it's a cool toy. Be prepared when small children are around. These are SMALL details.

We bought the Ecto I Ghostbusters together with the playhouse. The car was easy to assemble, but deducted a star because it's bulky: you have to remove the roof to put the figures inside. You "could" stick them out of the window, but that would be very difficult. As a kid in the late 80's and early 90's I loved the original Ghostbusters movies and Kenner toys. Until recently, yellowed and broken Kenner models had to pay exorbitant prices on Ebay. Not now! This is a really fun Playmobil Ecto-1. It has flashing roof lights (blue and red) and sound (see demo video). Each effect is controlled by a separate switch on the car's roof. You can turn them on simultaneously or separately. The light stays on until it turns off, but the sound goes through a cycle and then you have to turn it back on.
