Dark colors work great! I thought there was a Christmas color. no

The thread is wound opposite my other thread which seems to get caught more often. Light colors are a bit flaky and I had to start over a few times. There are no problems with dark colors. What I did looks pretty good! The white/orange/yellow looks like caramelized corn, but I had to restart and refill about 16 times for it to be useless. I have a Brother PE770.

Lovely thread selection that works flawlessly on my Brother machine

Simthread works very well on my Brother PE770 embroidery machine and this colorful collection is no exception. This set has a good range of color combinations. I find it easier to look at the chart than at the spools of thread, especially the colored ones. I have embroidered the letter S with every thread, from 127 to 138. These 12 colors give me a good choice and I like this set so much that I want to buy another set with bright colors.

  • Always popular

The bobbins are weird, my needle breaks but I found a solution

I see people reporting broken threads. I didn't have it, but instead my needles broke until I figured out the problem. I just put the bobbin in the cup and thread it through as usual. I have posted photos above showing how the motley color of the thread lends itself to making feathers and designing a beach washcloth. I also did a test with each thread to show the colors on each spool. The filament is nice and shiny, normal 40 wt. Search for motley feather to find free design files for it.

Very beautiful and sometimes unexpected.

The thread is very nice; doesn't leave a lot of lint (embroidery thread shouldn't) and the colors are nice too. I couldn't figure out what colors were in each roll, so I was a bit surprised when I tried. Example #132 just looks like red, yellow, and some blue; but when you use it, there are other colors hiding there 😃. I'm taking off a star because the spools aren't able to lock the thread when you're done with it. I fixed this by using my box cutter and cutting off the bottom of the coil…

Gorgeous threads! for Thread&Floss

I am a professional interior decorator, fashion designer and fiber artist! I have been sewing for over 50 years and I know my threads very well! I got them as a gift for a young seamstress knowing I would break the box and keep a few for myself. I'm so glad I spent the extra $4. and has the size of 1000 meters! It was worth it! They are great! Very fine sewing or decorative thread for embroidery; can really be used for any type of sewing! I have worked with real silk threads and they are…

NOT THAT BIG THREAD

FIRST TIME I USED IT FOR A SMALL PROJECT AND IT WAS OK. AFTER USING IT FOR A BIG PROJECT, THE THREAD BREAKS AFTER EVERY 1000 STITCHES. AFTER THE FIRST TIME HAPPENED AGAIN, I REPLACED THE LINE ON THE MACHINE AND IT ACTED PERMANENTLY. I was disappointed because I bought two boxes. I HAVE BEEN EMBROIDERING ON BABYLOCK AND JANOME MACHINE FOR 20 YEARS AND NEVER HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN COOKING EMBROIDERY THREAD. THERE'S A RULE THAT SAYS "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, GENERALLY IT IS." I chose your

Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

I just LOVE this thread. I have had other brands of thread that I have embroidered with and I could immediately tell the difference in this thread by removing the shrink wrap from it. The texture is much softer. It looks cleaner and stronger. I used colored yarn to make the embossed pattern on the baby blanket so I had to wind the bobbins to match my needle thread and it was very easy. I haven't had a single broken thread and am so in love with the way it is embroidered. I'll even add the…

useless branch

This branch does not work on any of my machines. I use several brands of fmq embroidery thread on two different home quilting machines and when I needed a colorful thread I decided to try these as they were nice and had good reviews. However, they don't work at all on my machines. I tried the two spools that came with the set and both spools pushed the thread further between the tension plates, leaving a bird's nest of thread shirred across the entire back of the quilt (as shown in the…
