Great brake pads

I have these brake pads along with the rotors on my 2014 Toyota Tundra and I'm towing a 28 foot 5 wheel trailer. It's the best braking system I've ever had. Their wear is just amazing. Braking performance with or without a trailer is amazing.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Useless features

They really work in brake pads

I was a bit hesitant before buying! Normally I shy away from the tricks and the detail of this or that advertisement! However, I have complete confidence in how well these pads will stop my tundra with my 36" RV! I think if I were to pair the Force Stop rotors I would have even better stopping power.

Excellent towing brakes

We use Powerstop brakes on all our vehicles and they're still a worthy upgrade to our Tundra. They grip well, create a minimum of dust and make no noise. These rear pads run on factory rotors and mate with a full Z36 front set (pads and rotors). Great brake pack for road driving and towing a trailer or jeep. Predictable pedal feel and stopping power every time.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Works great, slightly softer brake pedal

Part of the ceramic plate broke off the first set during packaging. They immediately sent a new set and installed it perfectly. We've been using them for about 2 weeks now and they work great! The pedal is a little softer, but we were able to fix that by hitting the ABS on a gravel road. Glad to see how they behave when towing a 30ft trailer. Will update if anything else comes up.

2016 Toyota Tundra with 35 " rise

Just installed these on my 2016 Toyota Tundra with 4" rise and 35" rise. I chose them because the Power Stop website has them for towing and truck lifting. Now I've only done the rear and when I had it replaced I had worn Toyota OEM rear pads.I really hope they work well as I've used the Power Stop brand on some of mine in the past Have used other vehicles and been very happy with them. Let's see how well they do. I can't rate by mileage as I haven't driven once since writing this review.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Bad impression

Excellent brake pads

I installed them on a 2012 Toyota Tundra with perforated and slotted Callahan discs. They were easy to install, except for the front where the brake line had to be disconnected from the caliper. I don't know why Toyota made a rigid link and not a hose. Disconnecting the brake line required bleeding the brakes after installing the parts. The pads are of high quality and the accessories supplied fit perfectly. Nothing creaks or rattles, the brakes work better than the original. I will buy them…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
