PowerTwist V Belt Profile Width Length Power Transmission Products Review

Great product. Bought a 13" Harbor Freight Bench Drill. It's a solid product with plenty of power, but the factory finish required a lot of tweaking to get it right. The main goal was to tune everything I could to get the machine running as smoothly as possible, and the PowerTwist V-belt (3/8" wide) contributed greatly to that goal. Yes, this product is expensive, but I got my drill at a great price to start with, and the net cost of it (and other upgrades) paid off I recommend this product.

I ordered this 3 liter drive belt kit to replace the belt on my new Porter Cable drill. I had about 10 inches left after installation. The instillation lasted about ten minutes. This greatly changed the smooth running of this drill. Drive belts beforehand and were sure they would fit. Every belt-driven machine should have these belts! Update Feb 2014 smooth operation.

I bought these for my drill press after making some modifications and the standard belts no longer fit. Installation was easy. It only took a few minutes to determine the required length and connect them together. Can't say I've noticed any noticeable improvement in ride before, but I've had quality belts before, so it was already running smoothly.
