I am a search and rescue service so my dogs are in the car a lot. This greatly affects the temperature inside. With the windows down and the tailgate open, thrown over the truck, it does its job well. I have 10x12 and really wish it was bigger. To attach it to the car I use laces, twine, etc. It's pretty easy.

This is a 70% Aluminet shade fabric, I would like eyelets on all sides but this is small compared to what I need it for. I use this to cover my car while we are at dog shows/trials and it helps a lot! Now I no longer have to run the car with the air conditioning on. Dogs can lie in their kennels and not even breathe (Tested at 93F over the weekend!) Great product, thanks!

I love this shelter and would recommend it to anyone who has a dog in a kennel in their car. I'm in the schutzhund club and we keep our dogs in our cars (I have a Suburban) while we exercise and this creates a nice shade on 3/4 of the truck so it doesn't overheat in the summer. I live in Las Vegas. Enough said. Definitely worth the price, but -1 star because there should be more eyelets on the long side.

Great for bringing down temperatures, wish it was a little more durable. The canopy comes with a machined grommet edge, but don't make the mistake of over-stressing the grommets as our canopy experiences a slight separation between the sunshade material and the finished edge. As long as you keep this in mind and use it with care, this product should provide significant heat reduction for anything below it.

I bought this little sun canopy to cover a box or my car. I bought a 12'x12' solar roof at the same time. When we went to the Los Angeles area for dog testing in late November, temperatures ranged from a high 70°F to a low 80°F. This blanket has been a blessing for camping at the beach this summer. I bought 3 but only used 2. I used one on my retractable RV over the large bed I slept in and the other to cover my car which is a black pickup. I had a haberdashery indoors and didn't want them to overheat.
