Good product. in Arc Fault Circuit Breakers

Nothing wrong with the product just poor execution. Can't people who work for Revain tell the difference between number 15 and number 25? I ordered a 25 amp switch and what did I get? 15 amps of course! WHY?

  • New
Cons
  • Outdated

Why is Amazon refusing to package circuit breakers?

Excellent switches, like all Siemens products. For some reason, Revain refuses to provide packaging every time I order them. 4 broken switches thrown in a small box rattle the whole trip. Wizzap?

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Bought as a cheap replacement

I have a 30 year old panel and this 15Amp circuit breaker fits my panel. The price for this was very cheap, so I bought it as a spare (saves me a trip to the hardware store to find a spare in an emergency).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive

I've been an electrician since 1976. This is my favorite brand and type of single pole branch circuit breaker. Installs easily with no problems. This is the standard size box for these switches. My AMAZON order came with all the switches thrown loose in a large box. VERY BAD DELIVERY PRACTICE. Check for breakage.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Works without problems.

I live in a 36 year old house. When the light stopped working I realized I needed a new switch. I also learned that Home Depot or Lowes no longer sell or offer this type of jackhammer online. After checking several local electric companies in my area, I found that only one had this item and they charged $26.87 for it. When I finally stopped laughing at this, I decided to check out the main source, Revane. Of course, the switch I needed was available for about $5. Plugged in and works perfectly.

was damaged. as boxes of different ages from different manufacturers will require slightly different switch housings for proper installation. And these days you might consider a circuit breaker with an arc-flash sensor (required on new builds); They're more expensive and not suitable for some types of appliances (refrigerators are notorious for causing false alarms), but they're rightly called "the best fire insurance you can buy" because they eliminate one of the main causes of fires. In my…

Looks solid and reliable

Use this to control the duty cycle of a 4500w 50 gallon electric water heater via a Z-Wave Device Module and in combination with a smart home control system. Useful for electricity tariff usage time or solar dump charging. The relay makes a very strong click when turned on, which I find useful for audible feedback from the basement. The hum of the coil under voltage is moderate, but not audible from the next room. There were no tips for electrical hookups, but they're not hard to find. Be sure…

Unbeatable price hard to find in stores

I have ordered several of these circuit breakers to use with my Siemens panel and still no problems. As a precaution for all DIY enthusiasts, it is NOT recommended to use 'compatible' (in the case of QT, Murray breakers) in place of OEM breakers. Siemens makes several claims in their installation manuals that the use of third-party circuit breakers can void panel warranties, and I've read online separate statements from homeowners that say panels can be marked during home inspection using…
