Proven and reliable car mounts

have been driving cars for years and their reputation is bolstered by this mount for my phone. I used a suction cup mount on my last truck, but the suction cup mount didn't fit my new truck. The new truck has four cup holders in the center of the console so I can easily hold my phone on them. The mount fits snugly into the holder and provides a great base for my iPhone X. I love the solid construction and the security grip it holds on my phone.

That's the weak link in the system.

I love the Ram motorcycle phone holder that attaches to the handlebars. So why not just switch to a car? Good idea. The problem is with this database. The fenders make it flexible, not flexible, not strong like the cheap tight base I've had before (with the flex top) or the multi-cup system sold by Weathertech. This ram base has bad design. Impossible to fix it to match the great bracket design. And baby, it ain't cheap either. You don't get what you pay for.

High end, not elegance, but that's what it's like to work with serious functionality.

Well done (USA, may I add). RAM has always been of excellent quality and made to last. It fits in a standard sized cup holder and I've used it with one of their iPhone X mounts. Yes, it accepts a cup holder, but combined with the short arm, it's a sturdy, well-placed way to keep your phone within sight and within reach. Easy transfer from one car to another. highlighted.

I would give five stars but I would like a larger diameter.

Like all Ram products, it's designed to work with other Ram devices, so you can mount it almost anywhere. Attention, creativity can be expensive! I would give it five stars but wish it was a larger diameter. Yes it fits the cup holder but not very tight I would add an inch. Although my TPMS monitor seems to remain stable. However, anything weighing more than a few grams can tip over.

I love RAM products!

I love the whole RAM ecosystem. This system met my needs for three devices in two cars. I bought this cup holder mount because I recently bought a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and found that the suction cup mount was no longer positioning my phone and Garmin GPSMAP 64st in the optimal spot. I am very happy with the purchase as this cup holder mount sits firmly and very securely in my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For the record, the cup holders in this Jeep fit a 24 ounce Hydro Flask or Starbucks Venti
