Awesome and free OS with awesome software included

I like that it's completely Free! Also, It has all of my favorite games from back in time installed (i'm talking DOS). You can also install your own programs through CMD or Powershell if you want them for use as well - but not sure how easy/hard this would be? Otherwise there are no real issues atm i think since its still new stuff being developed by people who just love computers more than anything else out their lives haha :P Maybe someone could make some updates so we don't have problems…

Pros
  • Linux compatibility
  • Can do Windows apps without any emulation required too.
  • No cost to get started with either OSes :)There aren'y really negatives other then what everyone knows already about MSFT software & hardware
Cons
  • Some problems

ReactOS - A great alternative operating system

My favorite part of using reactos was that it ran all windows applications without any problems at all, even my old school software like wordperfect and excel would just work! I disliked everything about this OS in particular how slow it's loading times were compared to other platforms such as win10 or linux mint os (with gnome). If you want an easy platform for newbies who are looking to get used to computers again but don't have much experience then go ahead try out reactos because its very…

Pros
  • Its runs most Windows programs
  • Very similar UI interface design wise from Win 10
  • Fast startup speed once booted up.
  • Easy setup process since no drivers needed unlike Linux distros
Cons
  • Secret

I like that it runs in my virtual machine without any problems, although not as fast or smooth than other OSes such as Linux/Ubuntu but still very usable for what i need (a simple file manager). It's also easy enough to install programs from different sources even if they are made for another windows version. The only thing about reactos is its lack of support for newer hardware which makes you have to find compatibility lists online before installing anything so there could be some quirks when

Pros
  • Easy installation
  • Fast boot times(it takes me 10 seconds)
  • Great performance with old machines.
  • Simple interface design
  • Many free software available
Cons
  • It is hard to say
