Very useful for outdoor lighting

During the winter holiday season this tape was indispensable. The outside plug for our Christmas lights was on the opposite side of the patio. This tape allowed us to slide the heavy-duty rope into a small indentation between sections of concrete and prevent tripping over the rope. It usually took three pieces of tape to meet my wife's needs - the first piece over the cord and then pieces of the appropriate length on each edge of that first piece. The tape is easy to remove from the concrete…

Perfect lazy fix for a leaking sunroof

Good: Having repaired my never used but leaking sunroof on my Toyota 4-Runner for the second time, I bought this as a last resort to save on my wallet. from expensive repairs at the dealer. It's been a month of terribly rainy spring weather and it seems to be holding up well. Easy to apply and I have enough left over for inevitable repairs. Great option for $5. The Bad: No complaints so far, just a dry passenger seat, so I'm happy, but I'll definitely update my review if that changes. Pros:…

Can be torn off with your fingers just as easily as the original

My family and I have used duck tape all our lives, but it wasn't until I got older and had to use it indoors that I discovered the glue didn't stick to anything. And wow, this stuff does the trick. It's just as easy to tear with your fingers as the original, but it's a darker, deeper grey, almost black but not quite. And, even better, you don't have to sacrifice any power for the no-glue-leaving bonus. It's as strong as I need it to be to hold my LED lights where I couldn't nail/screw/staple…

Perfect solution!

My postman stuffs packages in my mailbox instead of getting out of the car and throwing them in my mailbox. Every two years she managed to destroy the mailbox. I got it right last time and installed a plastic box instead of a metal box and we just hit the two year mark. I was glad I outwitted her. But then I went out to get out the bag she had put inside and I heard a crack. Not a mailbox this time, but a metal bracket torn from a post. I needed to do something or not get my mail so I wrapped…

Quick Fix Metal Awning Fixing Solution

I bought two rolls of this durable tape from Scotch 3M to use for outdoor applications I want to hold up through the wet cold North West winters. My first use of this product was to use it to patch the roof of my well house. The roofing material is metal tarpaulin and there were a few holes in it that needed patching. I decided to use this tape and paint over the tape to hide it. It looks great and waterproofs the holes which was the goal. It adheres perfectly to metal without being difficult…
