A godsend for dry skin

Regular soap becomes too dry and caustic with age. Cetaphil products are great for getting nice and clean instead of getting itchy, flaky and constantly moisturizing. Bay, especially in winter

Dermatologist originally recommended it for my skin

I have been using this cleanser for many many years now. It was originally recommended by a dermatologist for my skin prone to dryness and redness. This is one of the few products that doesn't really irritate my skin. I use it as a toner and it works great for me.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent, effective product, I recommend.

Gentle and effective product that helps me with neurodermatitis in most cases. I only need and use it for my face. Helps prevent breakouts. Cleans gently. The bottle is well packaged, nothing has been spilled. Filled to the brim. would recommend. I'm glad it's finally back in stock, although it has a different name, I think it's the same as the eczema formula.

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Great unscented cleanser for sensitive skin!

my skin is very sensitive and it's very hard to find a cleanser that doesn't aggravate my rosacea or other sensitive area while that cleanser does its job. It has no smell, it's creamy, but it foams a little and washes off easily. I've been looking for a cleanser that doesn't also remove all of the oil from my skin, but I haven't found a cleanser that does. I've been using it for 3 weeks and haven't had any negative skin reactions so it's 5 stars for me even if it doesn't moisturize my skin…

The moisturizer is excellent and not expensive.

I don't like having to buy a smaller wash because it's too expensive now. I will tell my dermatologist to stop recommending this cleanser at all. If the eczema moisturizer in Restorem is still available I will use it. Otherwise I'll find something better. The price of this shower gel has gone up to $5 and it's ridiculous.

Much better than regular cleanser Cetaphil

I have seborrheic dermatitis in the T-zone in addition to very sensitive skin. I used the regular Cetaphil cleanser and it made my skin drier. I work in a hospital, so wearing a mask every day worsens my skin. I tried this type and Cetaphil and it's much better than the regular one. Does not dry out the skin as usual. It's also very economical as you only need a very small amount and it lathers up well. In terms of volume, it appears to be more expensive than a regular Cetaphil, but it actually

excellent shower gel for sensitive skin

My children have sensitive skin and regular soap and body washing often makes their skin dry and in some cases makes them much more susceptible to rashes and irritation. This body wash was great for her. We've tried other eczema products and they didn't work either. The Cetaphil Pro Soothing Shower Gel appears to be the same as the previous product Cetaphil Restoraderm, Eczema Soothing Shower Gel. I don't know why they renamed it but it looks and smells the same.

  • Everything is fine!

Finally found the right product

I've been using these products for many years, very satisfied. Then they switched to non-lathers a few months ago. I've experimented a few times with Cetaphil detergents which had the same words on the label as Restoraderm but still nothing to lather. This is a durable product that lathers well and does everything well.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Can hurt

Finally. suitable for detergents

For the past few years I have had trouble finding the original Cetaphil Restoraderm product that my dermatologist recommended to me. I'm not sure if this is the same formula I started with over a decade ago, but at least it bears the Restoraderm label. It was recommended for eczema, but over the years it has proven very helpful for a variety of skin irritations. I have ordered products in the past that had the Restoraderm label on the bottle but what I received in the mail turned out to have a…
