This is a quality product at an affordable price. My kids love playing with them when they are sick while I try to tell them apart when they are sick. There is no feedback or noise when speaking and voices are very clear. The only thing that surprised me was their size. They are quite small but really perfect for kids.

Birthday gift for a 6-year-old child. Excellent price. Excellent reception. The flashlight on top is a handy feature. Definitely recommend. Great color choice - we went with the yellow ones. : ) The only problem is that the box has no packaging/padding - my son dropped the box on the floor and part of the front is torn (doesn't affect function but it would be nice if they had one in it padded box).

These radios are too difficult for children. In order for them to connect, they both need to be on the same channel, and switching channels isn't easy. With kids pressing buttons all the time, it's all too easy to disconnect from the same channel and so they can't even get it to work properly. I realize this is a minor user error, but they are children. Definitely not suitable for small children.

I bought these for my 3 and 5 year olds to use at home and when playing outside. So far, so good. The range is much longer than I expected (equivalent to an entire city block I think). We bought two sets and they all work together so they use them when the other kids come in and we use them when they go to bed to call mom and dad if they need anything. I thought the first one was an accident. then the second doesn't work. After some troubleshooting I found the problem. in each of them there is a visible gap between the battery and the battery contacts (an example in the photo). Even if one of them somehow works, the slightest movement will break the connection and the walkie-talkie will turn off immediately.
