This tool never worked, I asked for it and took it to the burner with no flame but it still didn't burn. A piece of junk. But thanks for taking my money.

I feel bad for doing a lot of tests on this analyzer but it doesn't work. On my last inspection I was with my customer who smelled a gas leak but the tester showed nothing. Shame.

Nothing says you're a pro like having the right tools for the job. Sure, you can walk in with a business card and shoe covers, but if you think the gas leak detector is your nose, then you need to up your game. Image is very helpful during maintenance work and having a tool that the average person doesn't have and being able to pinpoint the location of a leak and the severity of a leak speaks volumes to your credibility as a professional trader. I bought this to check the hydrogen level in a battery storage tank (24 x 2V 800Ah traction lead acid batteries) in my solar system. They gas well under charge. As mentioned, the sensor will heat up in about half a minute when first switched on. This is in the manual and is expected. So it doesn't mean turning on the tool immediately and moving on. Haven't encountered the timeout issue yet, but note that the manual says the device turns itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity - toggling from low to high seems to help others, and when you do it stays on .
