Tried 3 colors: funky fawn (red cast), shy blonde and chocolate kiss. The red shade doesn't wash off, but the other two do. In fact, light and brown shades fade over time. I use a large makeup brush to apply shades to wet or dry hair. I also use a spray bottle and cotton swabs to apply paint. I am very happy with this brand. I don't want to keep dying my hair. This allows my gray hair to grow back without looking too miserable.

This conditioner really covered my gray hair surprisingly well and softened my blonde ends. I'm growing out my natural color and it blended my long hair beautifully. Added bonus: It adds texture to my fine hair, which helps keep it in a messy bun. I will buy this again. I wish I had tried that sooner. I bought the color Frivolous Fawn.

I don't know why women use harsh chemicals on their hair when you can just use them in the shower after washing your hair. Yes, it's like pouring water over your ear: just pour, rub well, wring out excess water, done with a couple of shampoos. My hair is light gray but beautifully light brown with this product. I've been using it for a long time - once even as a teenager - always have. Don't buy anything that makes your hair look like bubble gum - buy Roux - trust me!

As described, this is a non-leaching water-based paint that does what it says on the tin. Easy to use and low risk as it is completely water soluble. So if you splash a little, just wipe it off. Just the color I was looking for. In addition, it is easy to apply after towel-dried washed hair and the color lasts wonderfully until the next hair wash. Much gentler on my hair than the permanent or semi-permanent dyes I used which left my hair thin and brittle.

I don't want to use permanent coloring due to root growth and because I still like natural hair most of the time. I've been using this for years between my normal color (medium golden blonde) to cover up gray hair with new growth. It seems to condition my hair a bit and definitely doesn't damage it. You can comb through the conditioner to dry your hair, use the blow dryer for a few minutes and after 4 or 5 minutes you can style and go. One bottle lasted me more than 2 years.
