Great for math and crafts

I use these really big buttons in my classes for a variety of reasons. we use them to count, measure, recognize shapes, add and subtract. Because they're so cheap, I don't mind kids using them for both lacing and crafts.

Few cap shapes only

Bought for my 18 month old boy to learn about shapes and colours. i love the size But there are few forms. There are also only 4 items in white and 2 in black. I was hoping it would be more colorful and have more shapes. I show you some pictures of the product.

Pros
  • There's something to it

You can use them for so many things!

Bought this after reading the website that large buttons are a must for moms looking for activities for their little ones. We got them when my son was just over a year old and now a year later we still use them. They started out in a napkin case and he could throw them in a hole, now we thread them onto string, glue them onto projects, we think we use them to work out colors. The possibilities are endless. They're just over an inch tall so we didn't have to worry about choking, but I didn't let

Great product for developing supervised fine motor skills

The product itself is EXCELLENT. I work on hand/eye/fine motor skills with my 18 month old grandson. I have a jar with a slit at the top and he loves putting them in and taking them out. again and again. HOWEVER, I am frustrated by the many reviews on here that say they are too big to choke on. We had a button that was on the bottom and my 10 month old grabbed it. After 2 seconds he choked. The scariest! Please. Watch your kids with it. Don't think they are too big for a choking hazard. If a 10

Great for a kid who loves buttons!

Our daughter became interested in buttons when she was 8 or 9 months old (her first word was button). I wanted to give her some buttons to play with so she wouldn't choke. I bought her and she LOVES her! They're just over a year old now and are still one of her favorite playthings. We keep her in a dish bin which she loves to shake, unbuttoning and emptying all the buttons, laying out the buttons and checking out different colors and shapes, etc. I haven't sewn them on yet, but I'm still…

Many uses in sewing

I like tricky and dueling items. I've been looking for buttons that we can use for different purposes. I wanted big buttons for little hands so we could thread, glue, play counting games, explore shapes and colors and do anything else we can think of (they used to be doll food). It was a perfect size bag. Keys. The buttons were strong and not easy to bend. We've had them for a while, and although we lost a few of these when using them to stick on paper, we still have plenty of buttons left. If…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No paint required

Bought these to play with and teach my 20 month old granddaughter. I'm trying to entertain, educate and develop motor skills so we can practice all day and thought these really big buttons would have great features and be safer due to the size. I was very pleased with the bright colors and variety of shapes in my package. I have found that I am more likely to receive more of one color and/or shape than others, but that is the case with any multi-item package like this. If you don't buy the…

The perfect toy for a busy toddler

This is the best gift for your little ones as a busy toy. sorting and lacing and other things that pretend babies will do! I'm so happy to give them to my little girl! She loves to play with my button collection and I'm always afraid that she or her little friends will swallow the small parts. Grocery store spice jar lid sized knobs. I put them in an old plastic jar with a screw top. Great. Then by color; The colors are very bright and pleasing to the eye. And then afterwards, which of them are

Great but. buttoned

These buttons are very well made and the perfect size for little fingers. However, despite the size of the buttons, they pose a potential choking hazard, so young children should be supervised. The colors are vibrant and I really like that they don't have that horrible "cheap toxic plastic" smell that some other plastic products for kids have. The seller states that the buttons are great for "threading, sorting, gluing or counting"! I find the holes too small for toddlers to thread. An older…
