Great headset in automotive and automotive electronics

I fly noisy light sport aircraft and they outperform the D/C that some others use. My communication with the students is always clear and understandable. Very comfortable and the gel pads fit perfectly around the frame of the sunglass without excessive pressure. I would buy them again without hesitation.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent price and quality!

I use them for pilot training. They are very comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. They are just as good as the significantly more expensive headsets. I would recommend them to anyone interested in buying headsets for flight training and flying small planes. Thank you Rugged, you have a very satisfied customer in my person.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Feel free to buy

I had an hour with them and they work great! I used my Bose Instructor Kits on my first 2 flights and while they are amazing (and the same price) I couldn't find them there for the price. Convenient and understandable! Hope they last long. Will definitely buy more for passengers.

Pros
  • . Everything is great!
Cons
  • vulgarity

Good starter kit

I am a novice pilot and it was everything I was hoping for and more. They give a good sound and are easy to use. They are good for flight training and can then be passed on to a passenger if you opt for a more expensive set. I will definitely be buying a few more pairs in the future when I can take passengers.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

The microphone is very sensitive.

First, the headset feels comfortable and comfortable. I can only give 2 stars for 2 reasons. When used in a piston helicopter, the microphone picks up every sound. make it very loud The right volume knob stopped working after about 3 flights and eventually had to return the headset. I can't get a replacement because the mic picks up too much wind and noise other than my own voice. Tried other ointments, also without success. Not recommended for noisy aircraft.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Reliability

Great for commuting

It's not Zulu or Bose and can't be compared, but again you'll save $500-$750 buying them. I personally use Zulu 3 headphones as PIC. Bought for my passengers. They appear well made and comfortable to wear. They're heavier than Zulu or Bose, but not so much that they're uncomfortable to wear. I would compare them to cheaper "David Clark" headphones and you would still save money. They come with a canvas carrying case and fabric ear cups (prevent sweat/moisture from building up on the ear…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Better than the David Clark headset

I am a pilot student, my school has the David Clark headsets but I am thinking of getting my own. It was a great choice and it met my expectations! I feel they are of even better quality than the headsets I have used which are easily twice the price. Not only are they very comfortable, the quality of the microphone and speakers is amazing! The noise cancellation is also noticeable. 10/10 would recommend them, no need to spend more if you don't want to pay for a brand. Great headset, time will…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Somewhat serviceable
