RuiLing Stepper Motor Cables HX2 54 Review

These are "universal" motor cables that must be checked and, if necessary, individually adjusted. Not all motors are wired the same, so this can easily be fixed by swapping the pins in the connectors. The wires themselves are thick, the contacts are well connected. The people who are complaining probably expected "plug and play" and this may or may not depend on your stepper motor wiring. I liked them so much I bought 2 more packs to upgrade the motor cables on my AM8 printer.

As mentioned, a simple black/green swap (in my case) works great. I really needed and appreciated the extra length, having dealt with the lengthening in the past after converting my Ender3 to direct drive. Found the bearing wires/pins to be of very poor quality. The need for a new extruder cable was expressed in the fact that the extruder motor oscillated quickly when the gantry moved and therefore did not press through the plastic. Hello Revainians! I'm just adding my $0.02 to these cables! I bought these to replace a damaged cable that was too short for my printer to adapt to a direct drive setup. The cables are very long and can be useful if you want to move the controller outside of the case. Note, however, that you must swap the green and black wires on the 6-pin side of the cable.
