Didn't work as advertised - didn't work for our application

We ran a trial test painting perforated marks on 6061:1 aluminum. Surface prepared with acetone2. Marked with a Punch3. Remove mark with acetone 4. Paint applied (Sharpie or this product or nail polish) 5. Allow to dry as directed 6. Took a clean finger and tried to remove mark6A. Immediately after the "dry time” as per instruction 6B. 8 hours This product was the last in terms of surface adhesion and durability - mostly washed off immediately after 6A - no Sharpie marker, no nail polish.…

Cool markers!

I saw a video on the internet of the artisan using these pins to make a pirate necklace. She used markers to color the metal disc. I needed something to paint metal with, so I did a little research and found out who made the markers she used. I found out they were permapaque markers so I tried to find them. I found and ordered them for Revane. They were exactly what I needed. They dry quickly and can be used for additional layers if necessary. You can also overlay different colors with these…

Excellent black marker. I've been using these for 10 years. I've found these to be the only inexpensive markers that use pigmented inks so what you write is really long lasting. Other inexpensive markers that claim to be permanent, which you can find at any store, use different inks and resins. These other inks, like most printer inks, always fade and are therefore not truly permanent. They turn into ugly purple or other colors and then eventually nothing.
