Fits my Hero 3 Plus and works well. the plastic one started cracking like some stupid bitch on a Saturday night. I've already had 3 breaks on my Hero 3 plus. I think this will solve the crack problem Hero 3 Plus had. maybe they'll send him to rehab or some stupid shit.

Top quality materials but the fit isn't as good as the original GoPro. I ordered Sametop thumbscrews that matched the color but when I ordered the knurled wrench it was navy blue and didn't match. It makes no sense. Normally I would deduct another star, but since the materials used are of high quality, I can make an exception.

My original shutter on my GoPro housing broke before a diving trip. So I bought this replacement shutter and it is way better than the original GoPro plastic shutter. It is made of aluminum and is very well made. This is an aluminum latch and metal connector that attaches to the case. The GoPro is plastic and comes off instantly. I think I will benefit a lot from it. My camera was safe on all 7 dives.

The replacement latch for my GoPro Hero4 dive housing failed at its weakest point (thin plastic loop) I was very pleased to find that the company took care to machine the replacement part out of solid aluminium . So much better quality than the original. GoPro can really learn something from you. I assume this piece will survive the fall, it's so well done now.

Found a second GoPro Hero 3+ cheaply after making sure it worked. The only thing wrong was the lack of a latch on the case. My original GoPro had a loose factory case and I ordered this item from Sametop and it worked great. So there was no point in ordering it again. This one was also bright and colorful and went through easily with a little effort. I will definitely order this item again as it fits perfectly.

Great shutter replacement for my GoPro. I recently broke the plastic latch on top of mine a few weeks ago from exposure to the sun and salt water. Received in the mail the other day and started replacing immediately. The pins to attach were the hardest part, but a few minutes of work and it was in place. My only complaint is that it feels a bit hot when left in the sun. Only time will tell how it holds up, but I definitely love the color and the look!

GoPro original broken. The original parts are made of plastic and will deteriorate over time. I gradually replaced the broken ones with aluminum. This item is very well made, very accurate and closes the case perfectly. Haven't tested it underwater yet, but it closes tightly and I see no reason why it shouldn't be waterproof.
